5 femcees bout to take over the tri-state rap scene

One thing that has always been a black spot in hip-hop has been the lack of female emcees. Even worse the female emcees who do break into the game stick to the cliche selling sex instead of lyrics. Not since the late 80's early 90's has there been a female emcee who has been internationally relevent in the hip-hop game. Big name female rappers like lauren hill, mc lyte, lady rage, and roxanne shante have faded out and the new crop of female emcees nowadays got the world thinking can a female actually spit. If you look deep enough into the underground you will see they deffintly do, femcees like jean grea, psalmsa one, rocky riveria and k-lay have shown the hip-hop community that female rap deeper then just about whats in there jeans. The east coast is known exception. since i started running this blog i have came across some female emcees that would leave half the male emcees in the dust

here are the 5 top female emcees i have come across who will make a huge impact in east coast hip-hop

DAMA NILZ

Coney island native dama nilz is a rare type of emcee regardless of sex. Shes a battle emcee who can perfectly rip a track as well. Dama nilz flow has impressed east coast heavyweight nems and has aligned with his fuck ya lyfe crew. Besides impressing the local nyc scene she has spitting to rave reviews to hip-hop legends like talib kwli

She has won multiple end of the week crowns beating out nyc heavyweights such as final outlaw and math hoffa. At the young age of 21 dama nilz got a flow most guys wish they can have and co-signs most budding emcees can dream of. After opening up for ghost face at phaukeepisie,ny ghostface complemented her "damn this girl be breaking backs." be on the look out for a collab cd with another female heavywieght j.rose and her brother george burnez coming soon

ALI

Allentown, pa based femcee ali is far from the mainstream chiche of a female lyricist. With her gritty streat delivery, and her tomboy look if you didnt take a second to carefully listen to her flow youd think she was a guy. Alligned with up and coming lv powerhouse deth star ali has been making a name for herself in the 61o hip-hop scene by easily outshining any of her label mates. If your in the 610 arae make her to check out her and other hot female rappers at allentowns club mixx august 5th

medinah starr

mendinah starr,s vibe on the mic brings you back to the glory days of hip-hop. You could classify mendinah more then just another rapper shes a poet, and a visionary. Residing in west philly mendinah has drawn comparisons to a early queen latifah, spitting lyrics about unity and self respect, something no mainstream femcee does cus they got no respect for themselves. Mendihah is allready on her road to stardom having already toured in germany, france and candada, with her single perseverance making candanas best of the year list for hip-hop. Havent allready worked with hip-hop legendary producer premier, and spitting on the tracks with heavyweights like torre, and shadeem shadeeq some would say medinah has allready made it. Now its time for her just to be heard by a wider audience

j. rose

j.rose may have massive sex appeal but don't expect this coney island native to start spitting about her sexual endevours, j.rose brings us back to he days of classic nyc hip-hop. Pure rhymes rapping about the dying hip-hop game, pure love, and staying on the heavy punchline tip. J.rose is a force to wreckon with.

niecy rob

a tripple threat a model, a emcee, and a amazing vocalist this new jersey native is a force to be wreckoned with on all levels. Just released her most recent mixtape at the begining at the end of the year. You can catch her with ali and other at club mixx alentown august with

philly rap scene presents heavy spitters vol 1 MIXTAPE REVIEW

hulkshare.com%2F2hz412fvar4t&h=dAQDhdL4H

When it comes to hip-hop there isnt a local scene more dominate and as respected as the philly hip-hop scene. Yea nyc may be the birthplace of rap but also theres nyc rappers responsible for the death of rap. There hasnt been a philly cat ive heard come on the mic spit some wack shit just to keep a deal philly hip-hop is one of the most dedicated hip-hop scenes if not the most in the usa. There has been rappers on magor deals sell gold records and still stay true to themselves. Artist like benie seigal and freeway have paved a path for up and coming philly spitters to walk. Even the underground hip-hop scene has steady routes in philly. Supergroup army of the pharoahs was birthed in philly, jedi mind tricks is philly based, freestyle heavyweight e-ness is philly from blood to death. Heavy spitters vol 1 includes tracks from philly legends like freeway, meek millz, reed dollaz, and benie seigal to local favorite like nico the beat, rec raw, the vets and hedonis. Even know how much a artist blows up they stay true to there philly routes as freeway shows in "philly in me" freeway spits about how philly made him the way he was "i remember those days i had nothing now im stuntin" and lyrically freeway is growing a artist all the time. Philly hip-hop is still stuck in the 80's never loosing the true routes of hip-hop as benie seigal proves in "b.boy stance" where he takes you down a trip down memory lane to the forgotten days of hip-hop. going from rakim , to krs, ice t d.oc and other hip-hop legends trying to bring the routes of hip-hop back. Philly rappers stay to rapping about what they know in "life is real" izzy foreal spits about the true struggle of making it as a artist and showing rappers how to keep there priorities straight. "know when i tell you my lifes real i mean to mortgage, gas and light bill i could of been signed waiting for the right deal" this is a true line most rappers dont wait and jump to the first deal offered and ending signing there life over. The hip-hop scene is the heart soul and news of philly. the philly hip-hop scene is the philly community. from a therapist "pain" by nico the beast where he spits with a emotional delivery "i spit how i feel even though i dont feel right" he spits to help other rappers with there struggle. to guide and consequences of hustling "guiny millz "trading places" The hilly rap scene is the heart of the underground hip-hop game period. The Philly hip-hop scne even shows there more to femcees than sex appeal when hedonis spits as hard as any male rapper in "lets boogie" with former rock a fella artist peedi crack A solid listen from beginning to end no tracks to skip.

Tone Dolla$ - Noone

Music is life for most emcee,s putting there heart and soul into every track they spit, but some emcees have a family who mean more to then than rap itself, and show there love to them in there music combining there two biggest loves. This is what tone tolla@ does in his latest single noone. tone starts off his track with the hard truth that most women will keep you away from your kids n say you don;t give a fuck, something i can relate to. "i love you to dont let anyone tell you diffrent, in if they do dont give it a listen, if they say i wasnt there so fake, keep it real keep it grmey they slimey like snakes" then he goes into rapping about every joy of fartherhood. A perfect dedication track to is kids. Lyrics are un-consitant but when your expressing your feeling the message is bigger sometimes. He picks up lyrically on the 2nd verse. This is a solid lyrical effort and a amzing dedication

viro the virus VIOHAZARD remix mixtape

http://plixid.com/2011/07/12/viro-the-virus-virohazard-2011-mp3/

When it comes to jersey hip-hop viro the virus is one of the illest jersey rappers who still rep jersey. co-signed by German super producers the snow goons and featured on there classic black snow album viro hasnt released to much material but the stuff he has is untouchable. Taking from the same route r.a the rugged man did releasing a single here and there keeping his fans on edge viro has proven from what he has released hes one of jerseys best products in the rap community. On this remix mixtape vio-zard witch has remixes from the snowgoons viro's top notch lyricism is showcased. viro confronts alot of different subject matters on this mixtape on the track "kid you now" he raps about the opinions people have on him as a artist, both negative and positive. "i heard alot about me like when im liquored up i cant keep my wits about me, i deliver the same hype chuck did but people dont like nor trust it"he spits on the real tip how since hes a unknown rapper with not much credibility outside the underground people overlook him, even though artist like x-clan and public enemy been spitting on the same subject matters for years to rave reviews and support. "illogical scholar i turn a pocket of cronic to a first full of dollars" this statement suggest no matter how you smart nowadays your make more money being trife then using your smarts. he keeps this type of logic up throughout this whole album. if its threatening to knock sense in wack emcees in slum dog "all these net bloggers who think there top-shot hip-hoppers till i knock them out like one arm boxers show them how to flow proper as hot as jalapeno poppers" to depicting the effects on drugs "i see the price of cocaine must of went way up after i see things these dames do for a buck" then in the same line expressing the diminishing hip-hop scene "the rap game went lame the industry sucks". There are a hand full of new tracks from viro that shows he hasnt tamed as a lyricist as all. On the track "desperate" he spits about how desperate rappers are for a hit and some of the sick shit theyd do to make a hit while spitting one of his best bars to date "im the best with no augument slapping rappers for yappin whos fraudulent on the ground like knees with no cartilage one line will seize your whole audience" satill the best track on this is the track that made viro a house hold name in the underground scene in "starlight" remixed by black luger it brings a whole different vibe to this classic while the beat complements the amazing lyricism that caught the worlds attention in the first place this is not only the best east coast mix tape ive heard may be on of the best albums ive heard all year

brothamanz The Devil Wont

i remember first hearing about easton natives bothamanz a few years ago though myspace havent heard to much from them in the last few years intill now. There newest single "the devil won't off there p coming enigma is a solid track about a fight with the devil. Now this has become a plaid out concept in the last months ive reviewed tracks by daze dysh and youn trouble on the same subject matter. They bring a different light to the devils struggles though incorporating the devils demons from them making it in rap "this is what i wanna be the devils stopping me from getting it" is spitting on the sup-par chorous. one thing i like is his delivery style its on point his lyrics are a little basic at times but the way he spits it makes up for it. This is a solid effort

Niecy Rob "Just the Beginning"

If the world things that females cant rap they dont have there ear in the tri-state area rap scene from j.rose, damanilz, meinah star and more there are females that could rip half these male rappers on the mic, Jersey city native niecy rob is one of them. Unlike the others shes a double threat both a rapper and a amazing singer something that hasnt been seen since lauren hill. Niecy is 80's true hip-hop to the heart not the typical femcee. "this is not my dream its my reality" she boast in the begining of the track showing that her heart is in this rap shit and even if shes a up and coming her dream of rapping is complete. She comes up with some slick metephors "i got something you all like spinning your heads like a wheels on a bike. her delivery is laid back ad o oit her lyrics are solid top notch for a female emcee, she got soom for improvment but is on her way to big things

kingklipz all hail king klipz MIXTAPE REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/King-Klips-2520NYCCOM-Presents-Klips-All-Hail-King-Klips-mixtape.230628.html

Its been a few years since p-burg based dark riders have made any buzz then this year alone there have been solid efforts from both vision and king klipz to get the hype back up. On king klips all hail king klipz he reminds us why dark ridaz were one of the slickist spitting groups in the jersey hip-hop scene. He starts this mixtape at the top of his game spitting over a very low acoustic guitar style beat so you'd pay more attention to the lyrics and he instrumental. The lyrics definitely demand to be heard "cats be switching gears n*ggaz be switching careers, listing here listen jersey told you already be happy with the shit prepared, hit the ear make you disappear fora simple beer and listen here id rather grib the pen then sit in fear." his lyrics are woven nicely and delivery is on point. Most of the mixtape si like to with simpler softer beats to focus on his on point multi delivery witch he perfects with ease, making this rapshit look easy at times. klipz spits on every style possible if its the self reflection "broken eyes" "have you ever see a man with his eyes broken see the wicked with a scope of light with eyes wide opened" he states in the begging as he goes into a vivid details of a brutal, gorey heavy detailed journey though the eyes of someone born and raised in the ghetto. "later on that 50 bag was hazardous low n*gaz tried the same shit to happen so some n*ggaz took the machete and starting severing" klipse goes into dark details of the gritty side of the trap. Its not all about cash and chicks there serious consequences to your actions witch he vividly depicts. Then on tracks like "lookin at me" he airs out the average skut of a jersey chick abut thelust women have in there heart. This album is a true look to the grittiness thats hidden in the jersey slums. deffintly a amazing album

NEMS "MY OWN WORST ENEMY"

Nems has been around for years now known for his grimey hard hitting punches, his lack of respect for women, and for his criminal background witch has caused label offers with shady records, phycological records, def jam and more to fold. On this standout from his debut album presidents day he steps away from the "gunther hunting" and goes on a more personal tip reflecting on his inner demons. "i was born alone and im damn sure die alone, in this world its just me and this microphone" nems opens up setting a mood for his eternal struggles, and showing the only thing that trully matters for him is this rap shit. "truthflly im the only person that can stop me" he spits then goes into how he uses drus to cope that can fuck up ones mind set. This a whole different side from nems that hits deep on the emotional tip as well as on lyrics

mr. haily stadium status MIXTAPE REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/Mista-Hailey-K-Cis-Son-Stadium-Status-mixtape.250369.html

The local scene is full of young up and coming emcees. Alot of them have the insight that lyricism dont sell that may be true in some aspects witch is sad but regardless you have to put heart and time into the project your releasing. Mr. haily does exactly that he has his grind down to a t and he lives and breath hip-hop while staying relevant to the times. On the opening intro mr. haily starts off with a basic flow but has some impressive metaphors floating around "me and your bitch stuck together like Siamese" prey original the following line about smokign till eyes are Chinese is a plaid out concept but his delivery and flow is on point throughout h rack. When the actual tracks come haily seems to be putting his all into it with a much more polished flow then the intro. On the track "chillin" he starts off with a decent multi delivery "max fited on no snap-back round of aplause let me see your ass clap scratch that some n*gaz straight ass crack so broke no joke geting laughed at. The track has a nic laid back vibe that urban radio stations would scoop up in a second and thats how most of the album is. The mixtape though does have his flaws for he is lyrical most of the album seems like the saem track over and over again money, weed, hoes, but he does switch this up on the album stand out "we'll be back soon" where he delivery's some of the albums bes lnes "press my joes buddens gotta pump it up" this track see's haily talking abut lifes stress's and how he never left the game just was perfecting this album. One thing i can say is dude can freestyle on point as he shows on :motivation freestyle" mr. haily is everything the mainstream eats up nowadays but he stays tue to his lyrics and puts time and efforts into his tracks. stadium status is a solid effort

Look in These Eyes, Young Trouble gmc

You know my feelings on young trouble hes not he best emcee and ive never been the best fan of his, but the more i here from him the more he matures in his flow. When i first heard the opening sample from the beat i was shocked because troubles spitting in a diffent beat selection then his normal comfort zone. Even on subject matter trouble steps out of his comfort zone n a track about his fight with the devil and the demons he deals with on a daily. His openen bar is solid on a higher lyrical level then his usual basic 1-2 flow "i swear they coming for my soul trying to gain control escape from my pain devil got me in a whole every days grinding o the road god please savee or is it sold." now there lyrics arent anything to impressive but its nice to see trouble keeping the same rhyme scheme for a while. This track he even shows emotions in his delivery. THIS IS THE HIGHEST RATING IVE GIVEN TROUBLE YET im actually feeling this track in would like to here more like this from him

Sol-leks - Down For The Night (Lost In The World Remix)

sol-leks is a up and coming nyc lyricist affiliated with f.yl affiliate george burnez. On his newest track down for the night he spits with a rapid fire flow with alot of energy as he spits close to 3 minutes no hook just pure dope lyricism. he starts off on a heavy hard hitting metephor, multi driven bars "when i pick up the pen i become the greatest, i get the flow when you call cashis clay em i look past all those bastards hating, my flow slayed them down does frazier" i love his delivery style witch is deffintly original he actually breaks down the syllables as deliveries in a kind of how to guide for the less complex. The video is on point showing the ecense of hip-hop as well as the gritty of nyc as he spits in a graffiti covered subway tunnel. This is deffintly a amazing track,. be on the look out for more from sol-leks

lehigh villians the awaking MIXTAPE REVIEW

It isnt often when i come across a group of talent local emcees i havent heard of, but 6 years after there first mixtape me and most of the lehigh valley are finally hearing of lehigh villains. Consisting of easton natives lokey7 zen and sosa lehigh villains bring a unique sound to the valley. Filled with conspiracy theory's, intelligence, and some of the most complex bars ive heard in a minute the awakening is a breath of fresh air from the normal basic mother goose style trash i receive on a daily. The mixtape starts off with the epic underground track "knock knock" that has a vey laid back violin sampled beat with 3 verses filled with some of the slickest woven multis ive heard in a minute. "holding the bible as my torch, make you abort your mission force hit you with the rhythm audible was written in ancient scripture i use your blood to paint the picture with change the depiction no intermission when i initiate the crippling envisioning the diminishing of the devils grin" lokey7 spits with perfect delivery. there arent two many other rappers spitting this complex and n the lehIgh valley alone there are only 2 more who are spitting on this level. The rest of the lv villains are right up there on the complexity level in the same track sosa spits with a gritty hard fitting punchline styled delivery and dj zen mixes both with a solid verse.with lyrics this ill you'd expect them to tame down a little witch doesnt happen. Even when they shitch up there delivery scheme they pull it off flawless, on tracks like devils advocate when the beats a little more upbeat they keep there delivery on point not straying from the beat alot of emcees have nowadays. sosa comes hard and on point on this track "the most amazing Caucasian alien affiliation facing the caged the nation of Satan" Alot of there lyrics have a dark atheist styled tone but thats how they are there conspiracy theorist who need to be shown facts to belive. each rapper holds there own all showing complex styles of multi use zen one shines his best on the track rise up "contemplating my fate in a meditative state as i open my shockwaves to keep my back staight. This album has alot of gritty streat tales lyrical assaults but one of my favrioe tracks is when there in story telling mode on the track "life's lessons" when they spit on there upbrining and what caused there downfall. On a lyrical level there flawless, beat selection in supburd the only flaw i can see is the vocal chorous,s the chick can sing just it strays off beat a little besides that this has to be one of the top 3 relases in the 610 this year.

phaze wun the intervention MIXTAPE REVIEW

Im start off by saying elchain records as a whole has been growing on me, i wasnt feeling last years futuristicguerillabouncemusic to much but everything ive heard from the camp this year ive enjoyed. Now with phazewun ive always admired him as a producer but never consistent of a emcee like how alchemist is. On his latest mixtape "the intervention" phazewun impress's as well as falls short at times but overall entertains. On the opening track "abe" with rick chainy they spit a 610 anthem over "beamers, Benz and Bentley" that goes hard. Rick chainy spits a hot open verse but phazewun holds this track down the hardest. "i spit sick so the booth will be my death bed" phaze wun post in the opening bar, and on this track he definitely spits sick. " i step onto the mic with a surgeons mask on, and white rubber gloves the pens my scalable this is what i does" this is definitely creative playing the position of the dr. the revive the game. One thing that phaze wun is is original on all levels. the one thing he does lack is his own delivery staying true to artist who orignally spit on the track isntead of adapting his own delivery on the track "phaze vr marz" he spits over jay z venus vr mars to almost perfection but stays with jigas delivery style. "i get it in phaze goes hard flyer then a bird dudes so par everything i am is everything u so aren't got you bitch sudden death witch means no draws" now this bar is on point and the ending line is creative as can be but the flow is exactly the same rhyme scheme as jiggas original style. There are tracks where hes not as consistent with his flow then others like the sup par incredible with joey stlez, but the most part its consistent. One thing phaze does well is showing that wack tracks can be dope with the right emcees spitting on it as he murks "un-stanky legs" and makes the track listenable. he does have a hard time delivering like this on all beats though as his delivery calms down as where as his lyircs on the track "haterade" over guccis lemonade.he brings a array of local talent from el chai alumnies to 610 heavyweights like tug mcraw who spits one of his best verses yet on the track "who's dat" witch makes phaze wuns decent verse sound sup-par. phaze wun spits flawlessly though on the album stand out "victory lap" his rhyme scheme is at his most polished. "now im feeling real bored of rap, half my body feeling like a heart attack your a soldier wheres your army at we aint speaking japense we guna harbor that" not only is his flow intact his metephors are on point. Overall this is a solid effort it isnt perfect but its in the right direction. One thing i can say this mixtape has some of the most orginal and impressive metaphors ive heard all year.

p. stew sons of anarchy MIXTAPE REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/PSTEW-Son-Of-Anarchy-mixtape.161846.html

p.stew is one of those rappers who's known all over the east coast on a underground level, hes got love from the 610 hip-hop scene as well as the long island hip-hop scene, and has done tracks with german super producers snowgoons, so p.stew deffintly has his grind on point. His newest mixtape sons of anarchy shows exactly why he's buzzing the way he is. Dudes got a flow, as well as versitility. The opening track "sons of anarchy" within the first 4 bars outshines most rappers full albums. "im making my mark my basic remarks can shine though the dark and grind though your heart" this guys got his rhyme scheme down bout and for the most part is consistent. p.stew spits some witty metephors on the track "can't stand you" "my flow is flammable kind of like propane.l Now there a few instances even on this track where he has some extended bars that fuck up for the most part is a perfect flow. "its simple as this my vision is mixed im twistin a spliff convinced my gift is to bust clips" besides that the finishing rhyme the bar is flawless so one extended bar here and there isnt making to much of a negetive impact on this mixtape. P.stew express's some real life struggles "everydays a battle gotta keep on fighting" he anounces on everydays a battle and takes you his journey of the struggles he takes on a daily and how he overcomes the hard times. He also has tracks about the streat life, on the track "real shit" with future legends him and the colaborators bring the harsh reality some times you gotta do grimey shit to support your fam. "lil man is still hungry but mom becoming homeless shes out there on the streets chasing the white poney" then one of the future legends who spits this verse goes in vid story telling details how the son starts selling drugs to survive because thats all he knows. The standout on this album for me is "hold me down" from the flawless beat to p.stews coke styled flow n this track is on point. Lyrics are topnotch and delivery is on point. This is one of those shockes where i actually like the whole mixtape, there are some flaws but ot enough to have me stressing about it. Though this mixtape there are drops from some of the undergrounds most known from dj delz, j bizel of dipset, block mcloud you can tell dude has big things in store. Also like i said he has a 610 connection and it shines on the track da ghetto with eastons one mb and lyrical heaywieght ransom

left lane nation feat the H.U.R.T we almost there review

http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_9238743

this collab couldn't be more perfect. two of the hottest up and coming groups in the local scene jumping on a track together, shaze and galo of pocono based left lane nation teaming up with double and young budd of the hurt to spit about how close to stardom they both are. Double starts off a little off with his flow has alot of on and off extended bars, but finishs smoothly with a nice rhyme scheme. Not one of his best verse but in the comparasion to most hes still impresses. shaze of left lane spits 2nd and rips the hell out of his verse "each day it gets a little harder" he brings insight to you newcomers making it in the game isnt a easy road "anxious need my medication he lets you kow theres a lot of waiting to make it but in the end its all worth it. his flows on point no complaints here. young budd spits last and finishes smoothly. Overall this track is solid, and if they keep it up they will be there

http://soundcloud.com/brucka/hold-me-close?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=facebook&utm_content=http%3A%2F%2Fsoundcloud.com%2Fbrucka%2Fhold-me-close

Latley george burnez has softened his street gritty no holds bar styled flow for track for the ladies, his latest outing hold me close certifies him as a artist who could make it on any level. The beat is more ulifting and a more mainstream styled effort then his usual efforts, but also unlike his usual efforts hes switches his delivery up at times for a more fast spitting rapid fire flow that doesnt let down. His lyrics are toned down a little on the complexity level at times, but when he has multi's the rapid fire delivery pulls them off slowly. He spits to with women about treating her right and holding her down no matter what. This is a solid effot by burnez showing us hes deffintly a verisitle emcee

Math Hoffa ft. Q-Tip - Beautiful (NEW) - 2011

math has been a steady presence in the new york cd battle scene for years being known as one of the only battlecats to defeat nems, but hes one of the rare battle cats who can actually spit and honestly i think hes a better pen lyrcist then a punchline rapper. On his newest track beatifull he collabs with hip-hop legen q-tip of tribe called quest. This song is a track for the ladies and unlike most cats math has some slick metephors and doesnt stay to the cliche just wanting a bone. " shes on me like cool j but miss's me like lupe wwhats wrogn i just left you on tuesday". His flow stays on tack and comes with some memorbale metephors "shes on me like a instigator" Im not feeling the hook to much and i think the beats a little sped up for the smooth styled chorhous. Like usual q-tip destroys but i only review the local up and coming talent so it doesnt look like i like a song for the collab.
this track is fire!

Hate is My Motivator- Sticky Money

Stick money is still pushing out new tracks on a weekly, showing why he's one of the most respected new emcees locally. Finally he has a better guillity vocal track. stick money spits on what drives him to release music the way he does. "hate is his motivator" with all the haters out there someones gotta prove them wrong, and thats exactly what stick money does. ow his flow starts off kind of slow on this track starting off simple for the first few bars letting his flow develope thouought the track. Now this is a change of character for stick who mostly spits on a emotional level. His 2nd verse stick money starts off and point and doesnt slow down. "dollar and a dream i had a nickel and some nightmares, keep thinking im spend my life here, till i got up put some miles in my nike airs, now imon top im spend my night here" as you ssee stick spits vidily and poeticly how he made it from obsuricty to where hes at now. On his track "my hometwon" spittin gover big krits hometown hero he spis about the everyday struggles in his upbrining. "theres alot fo people coming for the same spotimcomign for but imget it cus i want it more" dude has drives but his flow is on the smplier se, and his origanilty lacks, but he deffintly has potential as a artist. TEN BASIC RULES of hip-hop: the wackmans guide to a polished flow PART 1

Nowadays it seems that everyone and there mother call themselves a emcee, and 95% of these so-called emcees claim "there the nicest" when in reality maybe 10% of them actually have lyrics that don't make my ears bleed in disgust. Yea maybe its a new era for the hip-hop scene its not about lyricism, it about auto-tune dance crazes, sex and hustling, still there all artist with platinum plaques that still can flow with the best of them. Even the logic that lyricism don;t sell is obscure because the best underground rappers like tech n9ne living legends, atmosphere, insane clown posse just to name a few have more money from this rap shit then one hit wonders like soulja boy, yc, hurricane chris, and ace hood. The reason for this cus since the new millennium the hip-hop game has changed with the pace of the mainstream pop scene, and because of this the true routes of hip-hop have been forgotten. So im gonna break it down for these wack cats and show them the essence of hip-hop, the rules of being a emcee.

1.Take all criticism good or bad and don't be a bitch about it

If you ever seen the movie "almost famous" you know my kind the critic is known as "the enemy" to musicians because most musicians can't handle the truth. I know that true talent doesn't sell no more in most minds but that does not mean people aren't gonna call you out on your wackness. Since i started my blog over 2 years ago I've had artist threaten to sue me, fuck me up on the streets, and even hack my blog to delete there reviews cus my opinion was destroying there reputation. No throwing a 3 year old style temper tantrum will ruin your reputation, defintly in modern times. With youtube, facebook, and twitter your bitch moves will be known on a global scale and will effect your career heavy. Do you really think you can threaten spin rolling stones, the source, xxl and other monthly magazines for giving you a bad review. Shit like that will probably get you blacklisted in the industry but artist are all about the paper and don;'t care about things in the long run witch brings me to my 2nd rule.

2.create something timeless

If you wanna make a career as a rapper even if your making something poppy for a quick paycheck you need to make something that will stand the test of time. Most rappers nowadays are one hit wonders and that one hit isn't enough to support you on. Yea i know there are some exceptions to this mc hammer, vanilla ice sir mix-alot are probably still living comfortably off one hit but this don't happen to often. I bet in 5 year some of you rappers probably wont even be able to stand your own music thats if you already can. There are rappers and group out there still selling there back catalog. Take de la soul for a instant there debut album 3 feet high and rising took close to 15 years to get platinum, witch means people are still buying this album on a daily basis. 5 years from now nobody will be buying soulja boy tell em, or wacka flacka flame, and they will never see a platinum plaque. So you need to make music that will survive the test of times, rakims "microphone fiend" can still be heard in movies and video games of today and still could prob hit the radio stations in this era and become a hit.

3.be original

Even if you are one of these poppy mainstream cats originality is a key to success. there was someone who started the auto-tune craze, there was someone to first "duggie" "jerk" someone started the hyphy movement and kanye west created drake whole style so having a original concept can still sell instead of dickriding on whats hot. It made me sick when i head pitbulls "castle on the sand" that mimic love the way you lie by eminem you know people are money hungry when domestic violence is used as a gimmick to sell. This even goes to the underground cats be original even if its not in the subject matter come with metaphors that no one else has heard or used instead of being cliche.

4.no pre-written freestyles

"you wanna battle i got a hot verse that will murk you" i actually heard this on a youtube video. If your that "dope" of a emcee why do you need to take a verse out of your notebook to "murk" someone in a battle. Freestyles are off the dome. I was discussing this with lowkey7 of lehigh villains and we came to a conclusion PEOPLE DONT KNOW THE MEANING OF FREESTYLE. iN THE NEW ERA OF HIP-HOP FREESTYLES JUST MEaN NOT READING OFF PAPER WHEN IN TERMS ITS SPITTING FRESH RHYMES WITHOUT A SECOND TO THINK. Take 5-10 minutes out of your day put on a hot beat and practice. sit there and spit even if your wack at first the more you keep at it the more polished your flow will get

5. read a dictionary and thesaurus

Some underground cats even need do this simplicity when it comes to rhymes is a problem overall in hip-hop. emcees spitting one syllable words that anyone can use witch ends up with people thinking that your a biter. Theres only so many ways you can rhyme dance, hustler, in im fuck you, so eventually someone gunna spit the same bar you have by mistake. Spend a half hour or so looking at a dictionary finding new words, or if you plan on rapping about sex, n drugs get a thesaurus and find another way to say what you wanna do. Being intelligent will help you stay original.

6.be real in your music

nowadays every rapper claims to be a hustler, every rapper claims to have millions, every rapper claims to have bedded thousand of chicks when in truth 95% of you are just putting on your best poker-faces to hide the truth. There music videos are paid models, there chains are rented and money is fake, and the closest some of these rappers have ever got to "the trap" is re-runs of the wire on hb0. When the truth is revealed on how fake you actually are a huge blow will come to your rep and respect. Yea in some cases this is not true, take rick-ross for example he was found out to be the one arresting the trappers instead of being one and still has a fanbase, but he has switched his style up a little bit, and has lost all respect when it comes to truthfulness. The more you stay true to your self in your lyrics the better you will be. And if you do wanna rap about sex, drugs, and gangerism and haven't lived it become a story teller. Create movies with your pen, legends like Tupac, slick rick , and scarface have made a career off this tactic. Write about what you see write a story from a 2nd person point of view of the gritty street live. Make sure you use vivid details describing what your spitting, make it cinematic so people can visualize what they here instead o just hearing the same shit over and over again.

7.find a producer to complement your style

Nowadays everyone wants to work with the major beat-makers and spit on the top beats even if there flow and style of rhymes will feel awkward on the beat. Go back to the days of eric b and rakim kool g rap and dj polo rza and the wu-tang, and locally godilla and reign supreme. Find a producer that complements your style of rhyme and your vision. Lyrics are important but if you dont have the correct beat your vision will be lost in the mix.

8.Have a legit hustle with your music

Nowadays everyone is posting there music on datpiff, myspace, facebook twitter, and so on and the only way there promoting it is though social networking. Yea you may have 500 friends but how many of those 500 friends are actually gunna check out your music. With digital downloads the era of a pressed demo is forgotten but go to staples get about a 100 blank cd's press out a 5 track ep and hand it out outside local venues, local music shops, press up some flyers and put them in windows of local business's. Get a street team together to help spread your name on the streets. My cousin has this hustle down to a t. He goes state to state in his car on a weekly drives 5-6 hours out the way and sells his demos across the us even in London. Social networking isn't gunna get you the word of mouth you want all the time since everyone is a musician nowadays go travel get your name out there.

9.study the classics

rap is a career choice for some so you need to study, educate yourself. Go to your local music store, ick up eric b and rakims paid in full, put inspektah decks verse on triuphm and holocaust verse on silkworm on repeat, study there multi set up, study the way they weave there lyrics together. Listen to commons i used to love h.e.er take notes on the way he uses a women as a metaphor for dying hip-hop. Your not just gunna become a polished emcee if you don't take the time to study the roots.

10.PUT YOUR HEART INTO YOUR RHYMES

This is important there alot of rappers out there who just rap for a paycheck and dont enjoy what they do. You need to put your heart into what you do. You need to treat your next mixtape like you would treat your child with tender love and care. You woulnt wanna set up your kid for failure why would you wanna do that with your music. You wouldn't beat your kid, so why would you put trashy un-polished lyrics into your music, its bruising your ego. If you put your heart into your rhyme put down the mic

610 EMCEE SPOTLIGHT: LEHIGH VILLIANS

Nowadays everyone in the the world is calling themselves a emcee. Its got to that point that the essence and grind of true hip-hop has been destroyed in favor of making a few bucks. Its very rare when you come across emcees that have been around for 6 years and are ok with the lack of success they have been getting and who would be honored if just one person downloaded there music as long as they were feeling it,. Thats the mind-state Easton based Leigh villains have. They released there debut mix-tape over 6 years ago and just now are they getting a buzz that is well deserved. Now they also dont fit the average atire of your nowadays emcee. They don't spit about drugs, and sluts (cept on some bored ass unreleased freestyles), they dont rep gang life, and on there personal time there out hunting, drinking, and discussing conspiracy theories. The total opposite of the average emcee. Consisting of lokie 7, sosa, and dj zen one, the lehigh villians are just now getting the respect they deserve. There hustle is old school kind, they still press hard copies of there cd, they go out there way looking for shows, dh zen one has hosted multiple hip-hop showcased in the lehigh valley, as well as have spinned at a few local clubs while just djing for 6 months. Now this is what hip-hops missing 2 tourntables, and emcees not afraid to expose the truth of america. Overall they are a refreshing reminder of the elements of hip-hop like there stuck in the 80's. There content level defiantly isnt for everyone but if your a fan of acts like the lost children of baylon, immortal technique, sage francis, you will deffenently find the lehigh villians enjoyable. There deffintly in the top tear locally on the music scene with one of the most complex rhyme styles in the 610. they keep it real they do this rap shit for the money but they'd wanna stay true to themselves. Be on the lookout for big thinks from this easton trio in the upcoming year, and download there 2nd cd the awakening at www.datpiff.com%2FLEHIGH-VILLAINS-LOKIE7-The-Awakening-mixtape.241546.html&h=TAQAqTQAF

ED MONSTA MONSTA WEIGHT ALBUM REVIEW

http://www.mediafire.com/?gct00bl91d5o2jc

All year long ed monsta has slowly been making a name for himself in the 610 rap scene, either it be his collaborations with jon qwest to the 610 anthem "a.be" with campgrounds, you don;t have to be a fan of the local scene to have heard about the anticipated monsta weight. After a heavy delay its finally here and what i can say it was deffintly worth the wait. This mixtaped is packed with tracks that every type of hip-hop fan could find something to vibe out to. Monsta starts off heavy with pure lyrical prowness on "flow" spiting some witty and original metephors "i spit sick leave your speakers sneezing", and follows up with one of my favriote tracks "came in this world" where monsta gets deep in his personal upbringings "my mother loved me m father dumbed me" monsta keeps a steady flow with a polished delivery that is more gritty than usual tracks. Monsta holds strong on this album on his own but when he brings in the 610 heavyweights you know this albums FIRE!! On the track fourth of july he recruits eastons most known emcee mb and his cut ent assocates b wells and sherm for a track that is flawless in all ways. From a epic gritty streat style beat with a smoothly sampled rock guitar, and a quik paced dipset styled beat that gets you hyped from the start. "ya boy taking flight like a missle at night destory your whole battlefield lite up the night fire works you see em in the sky" this hook is both catchy and well delivered setting up for a track of pure lyrical onslought. Ed monsta leads off this track with one of his best and most complex lyrical efforts to date. he keeps a nice 3 multi flow thouhouut rhyming some 2 syllable words and letting his lyrics slip off his toung smoothly. Mb comes on 2nd spitting on some real life shit "yea i got shot almost fuckin died" keeping with a streat giritty delivery and enough guns n streat tales spit so vidily in detail you can actually picture the events he spitting. b. wells and sherm don't let down as well making fourth of july one of my fave tracks out of the 610 this year. Like i said this album has tracks for everyone he's got club bangers "dance for me mami" street tales "my hood" and underground styled lyrical assaults "heavy with that." and emotional in memory of tracks like "change gun come" witch goes ot to all the fallen yougins in the 610. this mixtape does have it flaws tracks like "step on the scene" have monsta switchign his delivery and stretching out his bars witch fuckes up the flow. but for the most part this is a solid effort and a solid debut.

pr problemz problamatic CD REVIEW

http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.datpiff.com%2FPR-Problemz-Problematic-mixtape.95114.html&h=YAQDI5jLV

with all the support and love that this blog has gotten its not to often when i come across a 610 artist who i havent heard of, and if i do its usually someone who has no talent, so it came a shock to me when i has passed along pr problemz cd. This emcee isnt just another wanna be rapper who's trying to fit in with the every changing hip-hop scene this dudes got flow plus some radio friendly jams that any rap fan could enjoy. the album starts on a bragacio styled track "better then ever" claiming "i'm better then i ever been if your trying to get a win take lessons from me" now knowing me as a critic im always iffy when a rapper makes these claims but the more you listin to this song and here his complexed and developed wordplay you relise this dudes not just another mediocore emcee. "feel the grace you can see in my eyes you can see in my face i have the meaningn of wise" as you see he has a nice rhyme scheme that is consitant though the album. Noto only is pr probz flow on point he has a heavy mainstream appeal listen to tracks like "stack dem stacks" and "favriote girl." hes got music for the street runners "who im rob tonight" " plus tracks for the underground cats "trapped" and on the radio. The song trapped is my favriote song on the album the beat has a old school vibed turntable scratching and ill wordplay. This has to be theh most verstilel mixtape ive ever heard there shouldnt be a rap fan who wont find something listanable

the h.u.r.t CHEERS REVIEW

www.reverbnation.com/TheHURT

The H.U.R.T have basically come out of nowhere in 2011, from being unheard of in the 610 to going on tour with King Magnetic and Reef the Lost Cauze and having one of the biggest buzzes in the 610 area. This young, up and coming group consists of Young Budd, Tigga, and Double. They have a very old school flow which has led to them being one of the leading breakout groups locally. The beat to “Cheers” has a nice feel and a good vibe that you can just sit there with your homies feeling real relaxed while sipping on some Henny. The hook is both catchy enough to get radio play and real enough to stay true to themselves. Young Budd starts off first with a double multi-flow as he keeps the same rhyme for two bars then switching it up describing how they “got the spot jumpin’ and its party season.” Tigga comes on second sounding like a younger version of Lupe Fiasco, staying with a slick laid back flow that sets up the final verse from Double. With a track like this, you could get any club and bar on their feet. Overall this track has all the mainstream appeal and enough flow to keep the underground heads bumping. Now this is hip-hop!

CHAOS AT SMITH AND WESSON RELEASE PARTY

check out

http://www.hiphopstan.com/smif-n-wessun-police-album-release-party/

for a lengthier video where you will actually see the beatings i re-upped this article cus this is important for people to see both racism and police brutality still exist so for the next few days this will end as the lead off article

What has this world coming to when a rap concert can't go though without the whole new york police depart getting involved for no reason at all but as a victim said "to many black people in one place" witch was probally the truth. There was no violence no fighting no bullshit at all to cause the cops to get as violent as they did. As you start watching this video you stomachs churns there must of been 4000 people + her adn ther looks to be more cops there like this was a riot or a protest or some shit instead of a album release party. There must of been a narc in the building who called policed cus the irony in smith in wessons open statement is insane. "its time for us to stand straight all of us gotta do somethign monumental right now or we will be erased" and by the look of the police response they were out to erase. Around 3 minutes in you see about 5-6 peopel start clubbing the fuck out of a guy its insane. And as u see theres not ONE BLACK COP shows racism still exist. This is sad shit smith and wesson are a respected hip-hop group not gangsta rap who spit a message of corruption and true life shit. This deffintly wasnt neccesary you here the peopel sayign the cops attacked pete rocks kids and wife. Mty feelings go out to pete rock and his family to smith and wesson cus monumental is a amazing album and its release party should been a ay for true hip-hop heads to gather instead of a police brutality stint. If this dont make national headlines somethings wrong in america.

Strictly business - sierra leaone

Its time to let the 610 hear something from up and coming nazareth based group strictly buisness, who dont have that much of a buzz yet in pa but member eli the prince has a pretty decent buzz in the warren county area to do his time in the group jersey endless who are hosting a concert/talent show at washington theatere in washington nj july 28 8 pm. Now even though the lv has a steady scene there realy isnt any nazereth rappers bubbling. Strictly buisness who consist of block the gold and eli the prince. block starts off pretty decent with a nice 2 multi per par start off not to heavy on metaphors but flow goes pretty smooth thugh out the track. dude does overspit a little and its hard to understand but dudes got alot of potential. a sampled chorous that is a little deep and slowed down that dont realy go with the rest of the song. eli the prince starts the same as block same type of rhyme sceme. "your cold im frozen you a prospect i got chosen" a pretty clever line could of had a better set up for this line but decent. This duo has alot of potential guna wait to here more

MB - Hard Times ft. Neilz

people always complain "why can't artist adapt to times" this is the realest you gunna get to "times now" not the pop rap shit that people are saying are "relevent to are times. In the times of recession, racisim, jvinille murdues, police corruption songs like this are more needed then ever. We cant just hide how bad things are nowadays we need people to stay real to whats actually going on in the world not "fake like this world is perfect. mb keeps it gritty as hell giving vivid descriptions of the true america. Nilz starts off the hook "these are hard times life getting a little to ruff" witch sets perfectly for mbs verse showing how ruff the times actually are "can you see sirens the kids the cops, can u see the violence the guns the shots, cant you see the violence is up" "felon this felon that cant get a job selling this selling forced to ro' "piss in the hallways roaches on the wall." mb sums this up perfectly "see how i paint this picture for you" and he deffintly does you wont see stuff this gritty unless u go back and watch re-runs of the wire. mb has one of the most steady rhyme schemes and one of the most respected. favriote line "thy treat me like a mason eyes on me now" who the fuck is that creative locally not many

My Answer (do it for) -Sticky Money

Stick money deffintly is on the road to being hands down best new artist in the 610 hip-hop scene this year. Releasing a new video almost everyweek and never disappointing. Always spitting the realest deepest heartfelt tracks in the local scene. dudes got a heavy buzz and n"note to self" is highly aticipated doesnt have a official mixtape but still everyone in the 610 knows hes the truth. His newest track answers me brings him spitting more true life story shit anyone who grew up in bad conditions can relate to. "they say stick youthe voice of the hood thats who i do it for" this is one of the most humble statements ive heard in a while. He dont do this for himself he dont do this for the money he doest this rap shit to help the people struggling get some hope. "i do this for daddys little girl who dotn see his mother cus her mother out running the world, folling broke niggers chasing diamonds and pearls" "i do this for the teans lost in the moment in fucked up" "i dot his for the ones livign out of arbage bags living no dresser" as you see stick money goes raw showing the gritty side of the world while supporting them and givin hope now this is a real artist

610 XPOSED: RED MCFLY (THIS WILL CAUSE HEAVY BACKLASH"

when i was in jail last year another inmate on my block would make claim he ran a record label called q records that was home of bg and claimed he was dating the chick from j-holidays bed video. He had false business cards, a false website, and even a false wikipedia made for this false label. I believed him actually in till i got out and checked bg' website to see he wasn't signed to such label, out of a long-shot i wrote bg on myspace asking if he ever heard of this guy shockingly he wrote back and responded "no clue who he is just another wanna be rapper trying to get success from others". When i got out this got me thinking about a claim a local hip-hop artist made with no fact base around it earlier in the year. red mcfly was promoting himself as the headline for kid cudi's performance at Lafayette college in april of 2010. He promoting it on facebook and myspace and never once did i think any suspicion of it because he was a lv award winning rapper and looked to be respected in the 610 scene. I was at that show and the only opening act was chiddy bang, i had confronted him the next day and he said he got a call hours before the show from kid cudis manager that chiddy bang could be the only opening act but red claimed "that he be touring with kid cudi next year" if anyone who's doubting all quotes im using are direct quotes from facebook and aim conversation with the people im quoting that i have saved in my inbox to be disclosed if needed. Anyway this was kind of suspicious for the fact that he never once posted on facebook that he was told not to open up so people had believed this. Like i said i did to since he was locally recognized. This was the first of many doubts and false promotion techniques used by red mcfly over the course of 2010-2011 from fake collabo's and mix tapes to paying labels to distribute his stuff. Im the type of guy who has to have my suspicions proven right before i make a steady conclusion. So even though he had many questionable carer moves he was claiming i still had some belief dude was legit since no one has proven him wrong. A few month ago my suspicions started becoming fact. Me and a writer from philly based 215hiphop.com started discussing the insane and dishonest promotion tactics artist used to get heard and how the days of slanging demos and making a buzz from your self is gone. This discussion was actually on a youtube video i posted on facebooks status comments of soundclick artist hard target putting all his videos under new eminem songs to get known. During this discussion i actually brought up red mcly's new mixtape back to the future that he claims was released off def jam and how i thought he was using that as a promotional technique. My source ended up sending me this link http://www.idjfirstlook.com/faq its a def jam distribution deal where a artist can pay the label 50 bucks to digitally distribute your album on i-tunes. You are not signed to the label or have any ties to the label def jam just puts your album on i-tunes for a cost. After finding this out i told my source other doubts i had about red including his 2 most successful mix tapes he was featured on one being revenge of the nerds2 and the other being the mixtape we run pa that featured red wiz khalifa and meek mills. My source let me know two things very valuable one that the revenge of the nerd mixtape serious that red was featured on was fake as hell. In 2006 lupe fiasco released a acclaimed mixtape entitled revenge of the nerds that got over 25k downloads and it was suspicious reds mixtapes had the same name. Now looking at the cover of the mixtape series it shows the redlight clothing presents logo on it http://www.datpiff.com/Lupe-Fiasco-Revenge-Of-The-Nerds-mixtape.117239.html. he used the name of a well known mixtape to get plays hopefully lupe didnt have the mixtape name copy written and is lucky it was a free dl or hed have copywrite issues and finical issues fom taking dl's away from lupe. Now you may say alot of artist do this true but alot of artist dont buzz off it and alot of artist dont make direct claims to have "earned a spot on the mixtape" cus if people remember when red was promoting the mixtape he always said "looks who's music made it in lupes pocket" acting like lupe fiasco had co-signed him. Now red has always done this on is 3 year in a row lv music awards all his mixtapes her filled with verses from industry artist and never labled mixtape and claim as legit collaborators. 610 artist have been furious for years because this sleazy tacic has taken away chances for true musicians with true grinds to get recognized. Artist like king magnetic who have ACTUAL RECORD DEALS get snubbed for this front. I mean it would be one thing if hed admit that he faked these tapes but he always claimed legitimacy and it wouldnt be such a big deal if he wasnt buzzed and taken chances away from hard working grinders to get recognized it because of it. The revelation though that got me wanting to do this article though wasnt the revenge of the nerds mixtape series it was the we run pa mixtape cus not only did red claim the mixtape was real he claimed a legit collab wit wiz khalifia. Like i said my source is a writer for 215hiphop.com who also host the philly hip-hop awards and actually confronted meek about this who said "it's sad when artist get so desperate they have to resort to bullshit like this" and also stayed after listing to the mixtape "if this mixtape would have gone global there would be legal issues pressed because it hurts his reputation working with a sub-par rapper." after finding this out i took a second listen to the wiz khalifa collab and googled wiz's lyrics to find out they were from his hit "my plane." now one if your gunna steal a verse make sure it isnt from on of the rappers biggest hits. I posted i was gunna air out red mclfy on facebook and he confronted me saying king magnetic allready called him out on the issue and it was resolved, he claimed that "a promoter had ripped him off claiming to be wiz's manager and he thought he actually had a real collab with wiz." if this is true one he must not be a huge fan of wiz not to notice the verse came from one of his most know songs, and also hes a total bullshiter because why didnt he press charges on the promoter. i confronted him on everything else and he said everything else was "a promotion tactic alot of artist do it and that though his promotion tactic he had signed with french montanas "coke boys label" so i decided to put this article on hold. I first started getting suspicion this was fake when redlight artist vera started promoting a label called paper union music http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paper-union-music-group/216287315072016 that said they were aligned with the coke boys yet again the only likes are red associates. I also started getting suspicios when the video for vera's collab with the coke boys produced by red mcfly came out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmYJhQJA7lE first off in the begining of the video one of the coke boys mentions "is that all if not itll cost you more" then when the video starts every time its time for vera to spit it switches to movie scenes and vera when scene on screen is never scene with the coke boys. Now if there so down with the coke boys why isnt vera spitting the track with the coke boys, and a link on the video mentions the paper union managment acting like they manage the coke boys. red was claiming hes signed to the coke boys now he manages the coke boys this makes no sense at all. More false claims from the fakest dude in the a.b.e. Then yesterday i was discussing this with a local artist who has legit ties to french montana who stated "every1 in my city knows thats a lie cause akon lil bro runs the label & its not even a real label they dont even have the right 2 sign any 1 & we kno the jewler who makes French's chains & there all fake lmao". Now im a crtitics but also legit i checked my sources one of the artist signed to my 2nd source label actually did a legit collab with akon i googled all lyrics nothing popped up. So once again red is using false promotion tactics to get known. This has to stop cus foreal there are artist in the a.b.e that actually have been featured on national releases with overseas buzz like magnetic, godilla, adlib, uncany legit collabs with industry artist, tug mgraw feat joel ortiz, face the beast feat joel ortiz, shit we even have a artist who was HEAVILY KNOWN IN THE EARLY 90'S hurricane g but all this gets overshadowed with non hip-hop heads believing reds bs and none ever get regonized at local award ceremonies. While im on this another artist locally who royally pisses me off is the hypocritical jake haze last year he made such a rant on stashbox how the lv music awards needed a change and real artist needed to win yet again dudes wins VIDEO OF THE YEAR for a song THAT DIDNT HAVE A VIDEO SO HOW WAS THIS VOTED VIDEO OF THE YEAR IF THE VIDEO DIDNT COME OUT TILL AFTERWORDS. SHIFTY AS SHIT some one deserving like l.perfex, phillup banks, adlib, or uncanny should of one this not a non video. THIS BULLSHIT IN THE 610 HIP-HOP SCENE NEEDS TO STOP anyway big ups to the artist actually buzzing that desevre it phillup banks, face the beast, def star pachino, automaic, godilla, tug mcraw, uncanny, adlib lpefex, mb , h.ur. even YOUNG TROUBLE love him or hate him dudes one of the most buzzed about artist in the 610 and he didnt get that way by fake collabos, fake record deals or promo str8 street grind gotta respect that
