a REALITY mental illness and gun control

I know this is a hip-hop blog but in reality the tragedy that happened in sandy hook elementary school effects all aspects of life. As a farther of 3 and as someone who has asbergers syndrome I've taken offense as of late of all the talk of mental health getting stricter. I wanna put into context not as a expert on autism but as a sane parent who HAS asbergers if thats the only mental illness the shooter had it had no effect on the tragedy that happened. Asbergers is a mild form of autism and in all reality you couldn't even tell most people who have it. In my case the only problem i have is starting a conversation with someone i don't know to well. Does that make me psychotic no, and honestly if i don't tell you thats a issue with me you'll never know cus if u actually wanted to associate with me you would of spoke. Dan akroyd, Craig nicoles (the vines), daryl Hannah, satoshi tagari (creator of pokemon), Dennis Rodman, The real faces of asbergers. celebrities we see and here about every day living normal lives. Asbergers wasn't a given diagnosis until the early 1990's but based of historic information Abraham Lincoln. ben franklin, Emily Dickinson, George Washington, Marilyn Monroe, mark twain, van goh and Mozart all had traits that today would be classified as asbergers. So before you put a label on a disease because one sick minded human been had it look at all the good that people in are history with mental illness has done. On a different tip people need to understand mental illness allot more and start treating people with mental illness as people instead of outsiders. Im not giving a scapegoat to mass murder but in most cases it has been loners who have been tired of getting ridiculed and rejected and take it out on society, If we treated these people with love compassion and all fairness some of this could been avoided. You see lawyers on crime shows trying to say someones environment used as a defense and people with certain views being held just as accountable. Were pointing are finger at mental illness but the people who constantly torture people with mental illness shouldn't they be just as at fault if they provoked them to the point of snapping. Like i said in the sandy hook case unless more details emerge on his mental health just based off asbergers alone mental health had no effect on this. Also in a wider aspect anyone who lives in the Lehigh valley has noticed a spike in murders. How many of those murders are do to mental illness none its substance abuse and gang violence. Theres a more of a change of a high ranking mobster killing kids for revenge then someone with mental illness doing this again. Lets go to point to all the talk on gun control in America. Just because a mass shooting of 20 kids happens we wanna talk about it and say lets enforce it not. You know on a daily probably more than 20 kids are murderd do to some sort of violence but because it wasn't in a mass shooting gun laws aren't even talked about. shit last year 80 CHILDREN WERE SLAUGHTERED in Norway shouldn't that have been a wake up call what if this happened in America lets take measures now. Sad to say most Americans only thing about America. talks are going on though about only allowing military and cops have access to guns yet again theres almost daily talks of military people killing civilians overseas, in my local paper a off duty officer killed his wife and barricaded the streets of a small town, shooting countless other cops. guns laws wont stop that. In all sad reality there really isn't much we can do. Make guns illegal ok lets see whats already illegal drugs. Most violence is do to drugs the biggest legal issue we have in America is drugs yet again drugs are illegal. So making guns illegal this is a reality check a history lesson from prohibition times. Gun sales WILL GO INTO THE UNDERWORLD criminals will be getting richer AND PROBABLY NOT GETTING ARRESTED cus there pay off some 2nd amendment supporting cop not to file charges. and when Americans who actually use guns for protection cant buy them any more they will either have to go to the black market or be a victim. In a sad dark truth the murder rate may actually get higher with gun control, cus people wont be able to protect themselves. Now this is just my opinion but this is also what could be a sad reality.
