As a blogger for the local hip-hop there arent many rappers i havent heard of but that boy jp is a new name for my ears, from the opening spoken part of the song he sounds concieded "im the talk of allentown" and when usually a rappers claims hes the illest around 95% of the time there wack as shit but from the first bar he spits i deffintly most of been wrong. "ive been the talk of allentown for the past five years" i realy dont know that since again ive never heard of him. The first song image of me starts off hard with a nice beat that is ment for a lyricl assault anda nice sample that is consitant though the whole track, spitting some hard hitting punches all though the track. "you might pump gas but you pump no fear" witch is a line that is heavy relevant to hip-hop knowdays when every rappers life story is a real as mtv reality shows. The third single fast money shows hes deffintly out for the money put lines like that "duffebag on my arm i put that puttle to the metal," shows his incoperated in the street life and usally street rappers always keep it real and are no gimick rappers. His delivery is hard hitting "i vacinate this lames like the swine flue" is a creative line that shows hes out to resurect the rap game witch if he keeps up putting music out like that and being from the valley witch has one of the most promising local scene in the nation he has a good start at doing that. The main issue in this mixtape is thats its a mixtape witch mean annoyign djs screaming in the beging of every sound and only one track i cant stadn to listen for a second time witch is the aut-tuned assisted hook on she's mine is a mainstream banger and jps flow seems to fall to get less complex on this song. I mean if your gunna make a maisntrea hit dont tone down lyrically. Overall solid effort
