Ransom ft MB & P.stew DA GHETTO SINGLE REVIEW

All 3 of these emcees are exceptional lyrcist and all are respected in underground music. MB's power moves is one of the best liegh valley releases this year, ransom has had collabs with every one from fabolous, joe budden, and juelz santana, and p.stew besides being a amazing lyrcist has become to go to guy for music video production. This track starts off hard with ransom spitting gritty about his street tales of growing up while explaining what turned him into the drug trade "how are you suppose to weather the storm with nothing but rain no farther there at least i got something to blame" but shows hope about making it as a emcee "i'm rapping to not be another dumb chump with a chain. Mb comes on hard spitting more girry drug street tales you expect from one of the best street emcees period. "fuck a 9-5 ill stay making uzi's fly" mb's spits very clear this is all hes knows and plans to never change, at least hope this promsing lyrcist dont die in this game before he gets the critical aclaim he deserves. besides the street tales mb makes sure to keep his rhyme scheme up "life is hard with distractinions devide the fractions" last long island's p-stew feels a little out of place with two street emcees and p-stew tries a little harder to fit in this track dude you from mastic long island ive recorded at your criib your not from the ghetto man but lyrically he keeps up with the artist

The Uncanny - "U Trash" (Official Music Video)

"dudes nowdays are just gimicks" is the first thing you here even before the lyrics even start so you allready know where this track is going, trying to bring back rap like every underground act tries to do nowadays. "same thing over and over orignality lacks, im not a critic im a artist im just painting the facts" is spitting in the first verse speaking the truth 100%. every rapper knowadays once to rap about drugs sex, and trapping but again i take this line bieng a little hypicrital. Nowdays every underground artist go and rap about how everyone is being unoriginal yea every one in the mainstream sounds the same but everyone in the underground is spitting how bad the mainstream is so everyone in the underground has started sounding the same. This track is nicely spitting and lyrical but its missing originalit cus go look though the blog archives almost every underground track ive reviewed all goes on the same thing. maybe the rap industry will get back on the eet so the underground emcees cn go back to lyricism polital messages and real life messages instead of how bad the industry is we heer this in every track. so when your bitching about lacking orignality your bitching at your self

tonez return to happyland ALBUM REVIEW

T-O-N-E-Z has been making some magor moves in the last year, getting nominating for a emmy "best song from a tv show for long hard times" inking a record deal with warner brothers, and releases critcally aclaimed projects back to back. Putting his side project gangstaagrass on hold for a moment to release his latest solo album return to happyland where it shows returning to the deep, dark, gangsta real life style that tonez got regonization for in the first place. The album starts off on a huge high note with the haunting track the mirror that is both deep and lyrical, showing tonez rapping as your concious talking to you about how u percieve yourself adn how u realy are. This track is both creative and lyrical and shows tonez having grown into a real lyricist. the album stays on the same pace with the next track the need. "i need to keep my mind focused thoughts that i have will have the devil proud to quit this, i though sucess would cure my pain but sucess made me a scape scote for everyone else to blame" tonez starts off with the truth every rapper says that the music industry will bring more pain than joy but emcees need to find that for yourself, and in tonez case it may have worked for the better. With the whole album, having haunting samples and a deep emotional mood reminsant though the whole album. Spitting vivid lines that let you feel your in his mind. "music is my therapy i bond with the melody" lets you see first hand my one verse that his life has changed alot since sucess came he went form partying to darker tracks everywhere on this album , witch must mean that his road to sucess has been a bumby one, but he deffintly shows no time of slowing down. He lets his pain out and pretty much makes it known that if the music industry gets to hard he'll go back to hustling on the track the streets is all i know shows this "take the homie out the hood but never the hood out of the homie" its nice to listen and see the artist growth though a whole album, and tonez deffinlty shows he matured alot this album is therapy for anyone going though alot of shit cus everyone should be able to relate to this album

GEORGE BURNZ - DRIVING THROUGH THE NIGHT FEATURING JROSE.

And you wonder why i though heavy praise to these two emcees, what emcee,s nowdays do you see release a new single once a week, even better what emcee do you see release hot track after hot track with no sign of slowing down, no one. Even the underground has had its inconcistancies but i havent heard a track i havent felt from this brother/sister duo. J,rose never fails to impress spitting how she feels though her journey to the top while feeling her emotions in her voice when she spits line like "life cant be as tough ass it seems" "its for certian if this aitn working what else do i got not a damn thing" you got nothing to worry about janessa you deffintly the most talenet femcee nowadays. The haunting sample on the hook perfects the mood of the track and leads to amazingly deep verses by both emcees. George burnz spits about his reord deal and how they wanted to shitch his style up. Overall i deffintly see these two becoming mainstays in the hip-hop seen

rah the sungod eternal rain SINGLE REVIEW

Baltimore, maryland native rah the sun god is a exceptional lyricist who's lyrics show his perspective on life, while showing off not only his lyrical ability but intelengence as well, witch most emcees lack nowadays. Its one thing to rhyme ill, have hard hitting metephors, and a complex wordplay its another to rhyme 2-3 sylabal words and comparing your flow "more uncoprehendable then hyroglyphics" witch alot of dumb mainstream cats wont get. rah gets deep on the subject of rap turning kids into drug dealing cus thats all that rappers rap about nowadays, so its nice to see a emcee with a real life perspective on shit, and explaning it with pure intelect.

jake haze, phillup banks, omar they aint ready SINGLE REVIEW

As you allready know jake haze is a.b.e's rookie of the year, and is deffintly the most promisng new emcee in thr local game. On this track with allentown heavywieght phillup banks and red top city label mate omar, jake haze shows no sign of showing time. The chorous is a little off but the verses come hard. Phillup banks starts off with heavy hitting punchlines that could damage the mind of a simple minded mainstream fan. Omar who spits 2nd flow is a little off and can't finish some promising lines at times "im strapped' packing the mac in the back of the ac plus i earn what i earn and i cherish every breathe" he shows he has skills but lyricall he aint polished yet, but over time im expecting big things from him. jake haze finishes off the track he has some half-finished metephors and a choppy flow, but his flow seems more complex then it usually does. Overall this track id def a nice posse track

george burnz - best kept secret SINGLE REVIEW

its been 5 days since a review has been up sorry people im back to what i do best bringing you the illest unsigned eastcoast rappers, and im start with one of the most praised east coast rappers on this blog with george buenz latest best kept secret. About once a week we get a new banger from him and his sister j. rose. Each time i here a new track from burnez the more im impressed by his lyrical ability. Burnz takes a second away from his usual meanigfull tracks or gansgsta tales to go on a pure lyrical assault, letting every one know hes the best emcee you havent heard of. He starts off with nice acient metephors "im deeper then the tombs in egypt i cant say no more it wouldn't be a secret, and he shouldnt be a secret for long if he keeps grinding the way he is, deffintly with a track like this thats reminicent of canibuse's style shows that george burnz is a very diverse rapper, witch is hard to come by now adays.
