2005 one of pa's top unsigned rock bands were formed. Headed by Michelle Balsavag on vocals somber of out higgins pa spent no time screweing around and got right on the path to sucess. There first cd one step away was critcally aclaimed in local newspapers adn well as the first single destiny getting suffiecient radio play, even beign featured on a a special news feature supporting are troops over seas. In a few month by word of mouth the band sold 1000 cd's. They started playing smalls hows around the east coast getting there name out more then just in the pa local scene. Then they ran into bret alexander of saturation acres who helped produce breaking benjamins first cd. They cut a 4 track demo then started headlining for National acts at crock rock. In a matter of time somber was considered one of the best local bands to rock the crock. With the local scene going craze over somber and wanting new material they released a 13 track cd bitersweet. The first single "bittersweat" got heavy local radio play as well as having a video release. The song about about a persons sanity falling apart and being ok with it over trashing guitars became one of 2008's top rock songs and the video perfectly matching the vibe of the song witch you dont see at all know adays even rockers tryign to get all flasshy. They kept it simple and to the point. The album always had a stellar cover of johhny cash'sfolsom prison staying true to the orignal and not destroyign a classic liek most bands tend to do. Somber is a badn oyou'll be hearing from inonnational radios probally reel soon and as we speak are working on a new album so keep your ears out pa the next best thign in rockis right inyour hometown
