halflip blood from a stone ALBUM REVIEW

Blood from a stone is halflips follow up album to last years nothing set in stone. The rap/rock act from mount pocono's has done what most rap/rock acts do start to focus more on the rock then the rap and the rappin sounds like more hardcore punk reminist of e-town conretes sound. There sound may has evolved over a year but there lyrics and talent havent strayed to much. on the track stop the show feat the force mds the guitars are so heavy hitting you'd extecpt some evil metalcore lyrics but instead you get complexed worplay curtecy of mosez flow. and keeping to there normal tracks like complicated life about the every day struggles of life, keeps halflip on top, the only bad thing is there no longer original. on nothing set in stone they were more rap melodies and guitar now they sound like a cross bread of project wize, and e-town concrete overall its a good effort but after the huge potential i saw from this band with nothing set in stone this album is a little diapointing
