king ricco solid foundations ALBUM REVIEW

if you live in the abe theres a strong possibilty this name or his old record label cheddar records ring a bell to your ears. for the last 4 years ricco has been on his hustle selling close to 10'000 copies hand 2 hand of his albums althought the eastcoast. made not be the best lyricst but ricco can brag that he has the biggest hustle of all liegh valley artist. solid foundations is more of a best of ricco collection that has songs from his previous 2 albums (200 proof no chaser and new empire) plus the cheddar records compliation. With the local favriote dedication as the albums first track you expect nothing but the best for there on. now ricco's never been the best lyricist but when it comes to rapping out stuff that matters, and having the best production teams in the valley, and songs like getting that scratch show you that hes not your everyday rapper. Most rappers rap about selling drugs smoking weed and fucking bitches ricco raps likes hes a late 90's thirstin howl rapping about his addition to newports robbing wallets, and selling cd'just to pay rent. the album does have alot of there flaws though and one of them being the use of hsi girlfriend juanita on tracks liek we made it and lords prayer. the latter was probally riccos best lyrical effort to date but the pitcheness in jauintas voice kills this record. overall this album is decent but it proves on thing ricco has no mainstream apeal and isnt th ebest lrycist but he prob made more money off this music shit then most local rappers witch shows his hustle is top notch
