Reed Dollaz - All Barz NO Hookz (Official Video HD)

been waiting for the return of reed dollaz, and its sad to see i actually missed his return 7 month ago with his first track in 2 years after his failed record deal. hes back with the track all bars no hookz just coming raw with the puchlines like usual, whats bad though he switched his style and he seems like a rip off of lil wayne witch is sad for a emcee who had a chance to change the game, even going on the space tip like wayne "outaspace bars that you never wrote i aint home im zoomin in from my telescope im on jupitar breathing hella smoke" he fell off alot but lucky he saves himself with crafthy bars "i have a army of my n* looking for you like the draft" overall though this is a disapointing return for reed

gq twilight SINGLE

Ive always have deemed gq as the most overated emcees in the local hip-hop scene. hes overally cocky and his egotism gets the best of him to the point that effects him lyrically. When i heard the buzz around allentown on his latest track twilight hyping it as the most unique track people have heard in a while, i was iffy. I allready had the idia in my mind he was just gunna do a rap version of the over popular book, and by the instremental i was right, as it samples a song from the movie. Its not actually a rap version of the song but he uses parts from the movie as one big metaphor on how hes discribing his love to this women. Witch shows that gq is a pick up artist if anyone has seen one writing a love song to your women using twilight as a metaphor. Lyrically he stays on point though the whole track with ight metephors, i wouldnt say its unique since i bet hes not the only one trying to use the twilight craze to get big bt this is deffintly a good track with impressive lines with this being the most creative "only if she lets me have her i swear to play the whole this is only 2nd chapter we have a long way to go this is a new moon lets what another eclipse to the break of dawn we touch each others lips so we live like one as we hold each other tight under the midnight sun" either hes a straight twiglight buff or his women is cus he succesfully put the whole books eries in order including the title of the unreleased book and craftilaly and succesfully pulled that line off. gq is skilled i gotte give him that but the egotism gotta go.

f.a.c.e the beast feat joel ortiz da life i know SINGLE REVIEW

allentown has been on fire with harvesting some amazing lyricist as of late, and one of them even got a record deal and a respected freestyle with new label mate and one of the best emcees alife with joel ortiz. Face the beast just secured a record deal with koch entermainment congrats but lets see how that works cus you know the b.s the gave slaughterhouse. Anyway this is what i was talking about on the reccesion city review artist got talent so why dont they show there best tracks. f.a.ce spits gritty about his early child hood and the struggles he had to go though to survive when he was younger. He lets you get a indepth personal look on the harsh life he went though to get where he is now. "i tried to change the world with it in the palm of my hands so in highschool i dropped out had other plans at 16 i held down the house like a grown ass man my pocket had a razor samwitch bag full of grams" he lets you visualise his life and why he did the things he did. Its nice t have joel ortiz on here since if your a fan of him you know he went though the same struggles. this track is a pure banger for you head hop heads.

j.rose - featuring george burnz - where did the music go SINGLE REVIEW

Once again j-rose and george burnz are back atcha with another banger, i review a new track by them bout twice a week witch shows how big there hustle is, and not once have i not given praise to these too. When the beat first starting playing i was expecting some disapointment since it is a more poppy mainstream vibe im not used to from these two talent lyricist. How wrong was i though i should allready know these two are real lyricist. Once the hook hit "where did it go where cani find it dont even listen to the radio its like no body tries thats why no one bys anymore its steal in the stores where did the music go". Now i know im not the only person out there who dont check out the trash on the radio nowadays. J-rose comes on first showing why we deemed her this weeks next 2 blow speaking real shit about the music industry "since when did the music industry become a game when people starting making songs just to get fame there where a chain to show how far they came froma truth so right writing about real life and real pain then wanna sign you if you'll let them find you they rip you apart and start to redeisgn you" Witch is one of the most bold statements ive heard from a artist yet. its so true i remeber reading a article in xxl on b.o.b they wanted his first single to be flo-rida's now hit right round, and he denied it then alantic dropped him from the label. its sad that musicians cant be real no more. These two though will never change thats why none of them have a deal yet. george burnz comes on 2nd Z"im doing this for all the big rappers that died" burnz speaks that hes gunna try to bring rap back to the golden days and i realy hope they do

meek mill, red mcly, wiz khalia, we run pa ALBUM REVIEW

Pa stand up!!! you should be proud of being the home state of some of the most promising emcees in the rap game nowadays, and this mixtape showcases 3 of its front runners. On this mixtape we see the return of meek mill and its nice not to here him beefing with reed dollaz on the mixtape (even though id prefer to here reed on here). a Weeded out and trully unique talent in pittsburgs wiz khalifia, and the melodic new school sound of allentown native red mcfly" The mixtape starts with meek mill club smash rose red, well we see meek mill flowing with a rap fire flow witch helps the delivery of his double multi rhyme scheme, making it flow smoothly. meek mill also shines on the track we run pa with former yung gunz member young chris, slowing down his flow a little bit so you can heer his passion for his home state. meek impress's most on the track on the track gonna be starting if you can actuall make out his lyrics cus his dleivery is a little softer on this track, over a 70's inspired beat that has meek going back to his sped up flow but does get alittle hot headed "im like a little biggy mixed with 2-pac, a little bit of naz mixed with jay-z" i wouldnt go that far cus yes meek mill is promising he does have a long way to go. Red brings the new school to this mixtape that showcases 3 styles of rap newschool, street, and weeded out. He ibrings it hard with his smooth vocals on the track turn me up where he spits some deep lines witch tells red is more then a emcee hes a thinker so he knows where the road of rap fame will take him "cant say im dead im high off the fame im addicted to this shit that put pac in a grave". Lines like that shows red knows the price of bieng in the rap game but is dedicated to turning the dying genre around. red falls off alittle on his brooklyn girls freestyle, but stays ill on the banger do what it do with tsunami and mrs mella that i reviewed earlier. Red gets a cocky on the track the beat "who do you think put this town on the map i mean im not talking shit im just talking facts" " i know im big headed but i know im the shit" The problem with this even though red is talented look where a huge ego like that got kanye west one of the most hated emcees in the rap game. His khalifa shines hard in his tracks on here deffintly on the pharcyde instremental runnin on the track name on a cloud, his flow does screw up a little bit not rhyming fully at times on the track the kid frankie. Another bad thing with wiz on his tracks though is he gets outshined on all of his collaborations witch is not what you want to happen, people liking your tracks cus the collabs are better. The best wiz track is the track that got wiz famous and blog worthy in the first place on the paula de andrea sampled say yea. overall this album doesnt showcase the best from these emcees but shows why these pa artist are promising

Jay Brody - Get Low

Jay brody is a member of allentown based el chain records. usually im impressed by him lyrically, but on this track get low his flow is a little off and by the lyrics maybe he smoked to much weed while shooting this video to destroy his flow a little bit. he slurs his delivery a little bit, but he does let you know that he smokes as much he does as medicine for internal pain witch is a little deeper then most weed songs are. Overall im disapointed in this song even though his weed out flow fits right over this trippy beat.

Qash Qai Music it aint that hard SINGLE REVIEW

Quash qai could be possibly the best new emcee out of the liegh valley scene this real, always spitting real lyrics with a nice lade back flow. His first single it aint that hard showcased his promise as the next best thing in the local scene. Quash starts off with a 2-4 rhyme scheme "how could i explain always so strained walking in chains schorching in pain from eternal ass whoopings exausting my frame" This is deffintly a nice story telling track witch you dont see many artist even underground artist telling stories in there raps anymore. His flow is iffy at times but most part hes consistant. The hook is a little off i would of just liked to here the chick sing the chourous instead of him talking over her singing witch hurts the vibe of the song a little bit. But overall quash qai shows alot of promise and deffintly have alot of hope for this artist

hitman of tribeland records the scripture SINGLE REVIEW

http://www.reverbnation.com/tribelandrecordsllc

Tribeland records has been getting there name well known in the local liegh valley scene as of late, apearing on both recesion city cds, doing local shows and promoting there music all over the inernet, so its about time that we peep them out. This track is a solo track by artist hitman on tribeland records whos voice is deffitly one of the grittiest ive heard in a while. His flow is deffintly hard hitting and his rhyme scheme is impressive and he def starts off strong "my lifes a little twistid and im trapped trap witha big black biscuit." Hitmans deffintly got talent and im deffintly feeling his delivery that flows nicley over this beat making it a streat banger, about being a sinner and still hoping god will look past all of his mistakes. overall deffintly look out for tribeland in the local abe scene

Ms.Mello how to be a emcee SINGLE REVIEW

Mrs. mello is a allentown femcee signed to local label liquid entertaiment. The track starts off disapointing with the hook about how to be a emcee just coming off as a instrucional on how to be a trap rapper not a actual lyrcist "how to be a emcee one cocaine flow 2 dope lyrics 3 pocket full of g's" shes making it come off that hustling, and money are ways to be a rapper witch those are way to destroy a rappers career. Her voice is deffintly gritty and as the track goeson her flow gets better, but its still alittle off. Shes deffintly got talent and is a refreshing rapper for a society of trash femcees, shes deffintly better then most femcees ive seen, but shes got work to do.

Iron Solomon - King SINGLE REVIEW

All tracks except last breathe and rat posion that iron solomon has spit on i have been heavily disapointing in, deffintly since iron solomon has the potential to become one of the best emcees in the game after allready taking the crown as hands down the best battle rapper on the planet, hopefully his new track the king will save his reputation, and he will take peoples adivce and become a better lyricist. Iron solomon starts off heavily cocky perclaiming himself the king of rap, his the king of battle rap but he's been unable to show me that hes the king of rap since most of his tracks have been a disapointing. This track deffintly is a lot better then his other tracks, with his strong vocal delivery and finally a better beat iron solomon starts spitting about acient kinds and olympic gods. He comes with some impressive metaphors "its monsoon season cant stop my rain, the air is my son with a seat in the sky" hopefully iron solomon relises his pontieal and keeps up on the path like this track here

Iron Solomon & Travis McCoy @ Miami Hit Factory

Initial - I Wonder

Initial is a member of allentown heavywieght reds label redlight productions. The beat on this track is smooth and relaxing, and initials vocals fit just right on the instrumental. Initial speaks whats on his mind "sometimes the truth hurts more then a lie do, still i keep it reel you know how i do you know i love my people if they cry i cry to. His flow is a little basic and he rhymes alot with the same rhyming word and gets stuck in a long bar, bu thats only in the begining of the track. The more he raps the more his rhyme scheme sets into consisanty and gets on the subject that most rappers make now aday "i wonder where these n* get these lame ass raps, and sell a million records that end in the trash". He just doesnt spit on the detererating record industry mut makes some good points about the world "i see bitches run around flashing red thongs but when you call them hoe they say u dead wrong" overall this track shows initial got huge pontential.

last time i reviewed young trouble i went harsh as shit on his overhype, and simpilistic flow. The vibe of the instremental of this song deffintly got me feeling good so im hoping his lyrical abilities have gotten a little bit better to not ruin the vibe of the beat. still young trouble got a simpilistic flow that hasnt changed plus his flow is still on and off with half bars adn over entended bars, but the sincerity in his flow how he wants to make this girl feel the best she ever has, witch helps out a little bit. This track is better then his last track but still nothing to special

Nems - O.D.'in (Feat. Bizzarre of D12) SINGLE REVIEW

After a small stint on phycological records nems is back as unsigned and iller then ever with every record label from def jam to shady records looking to sign the emcee with the most grimey most controversial most hard hitting punchlines in the rap game. Hes probally one of the only battle emcees to make a oponent cry during a rap battle. Now he returns with this track off fuck ya laws to with one of the most controversial rappers in toe game bizzare of d-12. Nems deffintly hasnt changed much talking bout knocking out pricks, screaming your mom "has a deceased cunt" calling your girlfriend a "ugly monkey" and "fucking gunthers stuffing they asse's then passen the bitches" and you wonder why nems is effective. Bizzare is still grimey and bummish as ever still not the best lyricist but deffintly one of the most entertaining. Nems is deffintly looking like hes not going no where no time soon.

killa t killas instict ALBUM REVIEW

yesterday i reviewed his single fairytale and i was realy impressed by the potential of this massachusetes native. He proved to has a amazing rhyme scheme even though he did seem to force the last multi sometimes. His latest album is killas instinct. the first track on the album just by the instremental seems like he is a inspiring mainstream artist witch could be a problem, and with the first line bieng "don't be mad at my swag cus i bagged every bitch" it seems hes just a emcee product of the mainstream trash envirement. the plus is that his rhyme scheme has not change, bad thing it also seems that killa t cant produce a hook with the hook sounding like a soulja boy knock off and the whole track seems to be a looped bridge, witch is disapointing deffintly off his latest single fairytale showing he has potential. The album just got worse with a auto-tunes hook on the track all i know, and whats bad about this track his rhyme scheme seems to be disapeared a little plus he is a little hypicritical in this track "im better then the rest flow better then ur sets" when this track isnt nothing special. I started to feel bad for the music industry cus by the track fairytale this emcee has talent but waste it on mainstream trash tracks like flo-rida had done. The track compromise gave a refreshing vibe from the mainstream flow on this album, and goes on a smooth track about making a copmimise with his girl saying hed nevr cheat and giv ehr everything she wants but he isnt stopping his contribution to the drug game. His wordplay game also is impressive as ever on this track "gotta get stacks when i flip packs with my prick act tell em get back when i click-clack gunan shit splat so fuck the chit-chat. With rhymes like this you can tell killa t got huge potential but he waste it on mainstream hopes and dreams and seems like the type of rapper whod sell out in a heartbeat for a 2 million dollar signing bonus. and that seems relevent on the track twistid when his rhyme scheme abilities disapear and it seems not even to rhyme in half the track. This whole album is fullof potential but killa t just waste it

jon jon hating on me SINGLE REVIEW

detriot, michigan has been the best place for a white emcee to break, with sucess stories coming out of paradise, eminem, kid rock ,and even the hustling abilities of insane clown posse. John john unfurrently isnt gunna be one of those succesfull detriot emcees to make it. Even with a mainstream apeal on the beat and hook this track wouldnt even get radio play. "i dont care what u think im a lyrical bomn" switch that line around to lyrically i bomb then we got something there. With failed attempts at metephors "novicane like u got a tooth poking out your nose" witch pretty much is a failed attempt not to mention it extends to fuck up the flow. I need to stop asking people on myspace for reviews my eardrums are hurting, and my brain is quikly loosing its ability to comprehend good music

June Marx - Overture Of Mankind SINGLE REVIEW

its always freshing to see a producer who can make a succesfull turn to emceeing. most producers cant rap for shit even though they associate with some talented emcees. June marx of the twin perils is one of the few who can succesfully pull off a critcally acalimed turn to emceeing. With the haunting instremental on this track june marx spits some clever and complex rhymeschemes that flow steadily though the whole track. "they watch us from a distance 24/7 like there clocking are existence" marx spits on the chorous how he feels like we are watched over by god and the devil everymood we make. Marx gets real politcal plus making a good point most people wouldn;t dare to make "regardless obama or macain in the office, they all the same just a diffrent color puppet to currupt the budget and gain the trust of the public" witch is pretty much a true statement cus even with obama in the office opviously the economy hasnt changed much even with his billion dollar bailouts and im going on 9 month looking for employment with no luck. June marx is a intelegent and gifter emcee who you needs to stop bieng slept on

killa t fairy tale SINGLE REVIEW

http://www.myspace.com/killat13

Ive been asking around myspace for people to find me talented emcee outside of the tri-state, since this is a eastcoast underground and for the most part its been just jersey, pa, ny. So here i bring you worchester massachustes killa t. By his name you prob be expecting him to be some gangsta ass rapper. On his latest single fairytale is about fake gansgta who claim they hustling but there not bieng true and there raps are just a fairytale they never lived. This guys got a impressive wordplay game, that deffintly suprised "no time for the fake i got my mind on these snakes" "the dirt it hurts to curse the birth of hip-hop" deffintly impressive his singing hook destroys it and some times he tries to force the last rhyming bar witch fucks up his almost flawless complexed rhyme schemes that are filled though his tracks. Deffintly gunna keep checking up on this emcee

cymarshall law the flyness SINGLE REVIEW

cymarshall law is back, the british accent jersey hip-hop legend is back with a new album freedom expressline. The first single the flyness shows why cymarshals law has the skills to get a free collab by krs-one on his previous album. Over a strangely sounding beat cymarshals laws come on with even more complex rhyme schemes then he ever has, almost flawless witch isnt suprsing from cymarshals law. the only thing that somewhat ruins this song for me is the slightly annoying chorous besides that no one nowadays is lyrically touching this dude, and im strongly awaiting the new album. He can even pull off the cockiness that i yell at most emcees for "you can never be what cy is u dont wanna try this" "everytime i grap the mic they want more" and he has all right to brag about it with wordplay like this "its like that the kid fight back you dig my rap cus i spit like crack pure coaine your so lamemy tounge i throw flame to ingore your whole game" no one is touching cy

Tonez has been doing some big things as of late, not only is his song hard times with his folk/rap group gansgtagrass the theme song for the tv justified it has just recently been nominated for a emmy for best theme song. So theres no wonder why he was featured in are next 2 blow collumn a few weeks ago. His first single off happyland 2 is a the track monster featuring a hauntly dark hook curtesy of meg and dia. Tonez flow has improved alot since the last time we reviewed him impressingly starting off his 4 bars with tripple multies about grimey misleading chicks, shady friends and the usual haters. tonez airs out all of the people who have used him on his path to certian stardom, witch is destined to come cus remeber last year we said by the end of the year hed have a record deal now hes signed to warner brothers music group with a emmy in his grasp. tonez is ready for the fame now its time to annoint him to it.

g-child feat diggy, illroc and danny diablo LAST BREATHE SINGLE REVIEW

allentowns g-child is probally the most reconized of all local emcees do to her sting on the vh1 show the white rapper show. Shes never been the best lyrist but shes been one of the most dedicated rappers ive seen in a while. She has her own sound, she doesnt give a damn if her idol is the most disgraced emcee ever and it seems nothing will bring her down. on her newest track last breath with former punk rock renegade danny diablo of scarhead g-child comes more with her underground style over a heavy metal guitar riff, making a highly enjoyable song. Her lyrics are still basic but her delivery and the passion in her vocals show she pretty much dont give a fuck what people think. She does come with some complex bars though "eastcoast on the track brining it back black hoodies in bats brass nuckes in tats" so she has grown as a emcee, witch is good cus her instrementals she raps on are the closest thing were gunna get to the old school days, overall i enjoyed this track

jukstapose anthem antics ALBUM REVIEW

jukstapose has to be one of the most respected new jersey underground emcees at the moment, from getting critical aclaim on his new album to just open up for cage a few weeks ago. His newest release anthem anticts brings you more of the raw underground vibes your used to. "started off his graffiti now mic terrorist bomb it" has to be one of the most creative metephors when it comes to suscribing the state of hip-hop juktapose spit in the albums title track, All though the album juktpose lets you enter his mind so you can undestand hows he's feeling "what keeps me doing this when its not worth it" with the pain in his vocals on the track understand you can tell hes tired of struggling but yet again selling out isnt in his resume no time soon. The production on this album is top notch getting underground producer atyolah legendary producer 9th wonder and pacewon of the outsidaz producer mr. green producing to tracks on the album. On the track all before he spits what most guys feel during a relationship "all i do is drink hennesly endesly till i fall asleap i used to love her so much now i hate her so much" a line most dudes can relate to. juktose is deep and most of this album shows that. deffintly the best album ive heard from a jersey emcee all year

R.E.G. feat. Masta Skillz "Freakshow/ 7th Street" SINGLE REVIEW

freakshow/7th streat are the first 2 singles off regs highly anticipated 2nd album blood splattered angel that is a follow up to his award winning melechony red. By the first few bars of the track freekshow it doesnt sound that r.e.g shows no sign of slowing down. Going after mainstream rap the only way a true lyricist could "its a rap i return with a message to spread use your head you just some fake artist with dreads, or them little soulja boys that do novelety rap that shit is wack" Rap is dead and all these fake emcees and child rappers are runing it and reg flows with anger in his voice on how sad realy hip-hop is so he picks up the mic to help revive the genre, knowing though its not gunna be easy "i know living in this rap game is killed to be killed but i relised that it no longer takes skills" witch is sad or true any one with a gimick could get a record deal. The 2nd half is a ode to the streets he lives on 7th streat and showing the every day struggle of a allentown resident with a guest feature with g-childs former hype man masta skills, where we talks about the hustle he sees but how hes not gunna fall into it and raps again on the sorry state of the rap game "this is a dark era for rap i relise that but r.e.g is here to take it all back" and if he keeps rapping like this with a message and a laid back flow he deffintly will. Masta skills comes deeper then usual on this track giving a nice visual of what he deals with both of these tracks are amazing.

audio weapon system LIFE ON MARS VOLUME ONE album review

audio weapon system was a collaborative project between jesey known battle emcee hannibal king and 2nd round american idol finalist edwin burmudez. With personl trifes destroying this group even before there debut album got relased, life on mars never hit the light of day offically. the tracks for this album i have though since i was in the studio with them when this album was being recorded, and what i can say is its sad this groupdisibaned even before the hype for them has started. the first single off this album is the hope driven track rise that was played on whmu mullenburg colleges radio station and got a huge response. hannibal king has always been one of the most improved emcees every time he releases a new track and on rise his wordplay was perfected with true statements like "standing in line with fake people that dont know there not in it" showing that he knows that he has in the past associated with artist that werent up to par but with this collaboration there was hope. Another refreshing track on here is the love song 2 againts the world that not only catchy nicley written, but its the first and only time you actually heard heartfelt lyrics form hannibal who's usually callign chicks bitches, whores sluts and telling them to suck dick , this song vibed together realy well. overall this r an b/ rap exeremetal album if hit the light of day could of done big things for the duo. Hannibal did show his grittieness on the album with his solo track fair warning where he unleashed his normal arsenal of hard hitting grimey punches. The album did have its flaws like the wierd and off beat track the crane game about picking chicks out of randmoness to screw like they were prizes in a crane game and there attempt at a club song in the track i like it girl, that had eddi b sounding like every sex crazed r and b singer. overall by this ep this group had promise

He has done shows all over the valley plus sold over 500 copies of his new album ou a peppa in first 2 weeks. On the track get away jawise lends his smooth vocals for the hook as 2 of new jersey ghetto 2 ghetto label mates sizzy kodenine and getz spit ona relaxing beat about trying to have a chick leave with you by spitting slick rhymes at them. Overall this is a nice feel good track that you can just relax and vibe 2. look for big things from jawise plus g2g in the near feature, they got promise

n3bo back in the day SINGLE REVIEW

n3bo is one half on the group dem kurrupt boys and also a member of h8trids sidetream records. back in the day is the first single off his new album the hangov3r, the follow up to his solo debut bing drinker. right off the bat im realy disapointed in this track alot, one its auto-tuned and he sings more then he raps. the motto for s2r is fitting in by standing out by this first single n3bo isnt standing out hes trying to be like every other artist out there in this mainstream trash society. I actually liked his last effort binge drinker but if the new album is gunna be on the same line of the first single im gunna say DISAPOINTMENT.

jpk hate my life SINGLE REVIEW

jpk is the new jersey winner of the 50 mics compition, and is know for his hustle and promotion skills all over the usa. 40 drop recording artist who has done shows in over 15 states jpk has always shown he's determined to make it in the rap game. Lyrically he hasnt always been as impressive. His new track i hate my life is a nice track about how he deals with haters on a daily basis. His flow on the track a basic flow with some double multies in his rhyme scheme. Still hes a victim of the extened bars that screw up the flow in the song "they hating on my life the reason for this is your homie aint living trick or trife im forcd to carry a knife hope they dont make me while out in do stupid shit wit a knife" those extended bars always screw up any track but the tracks last 4 bars end strongly. As i said in the louch the don review idk what 50 mics are looking for but its relivent not the best emcees in the state, still this is a solid effot by jpk.

Casino ent is a 3 piece rap/r and b group out of phillipsburg, nj who have made there name known all over phillipsburg, as well as the rest of the liegh valley. consiting of mickey blue eyes, britney ray and casey jones, casio ent have been on there hustle for the past 6 years including there hit video wher gun make it that put phillipsburg on the map a few years ago. there latest single is people changing that is a track everyone should be able to relate to. Talking about how people change either friends, enemies, assoacaites how people change for the worse. Not only does brintey rae bring her dianamic voice to the hook like usual she picks up the mic and spits a impressive verse from a very talented female. Not only does she has a amazing voice but her lyrical apilities are on point, flow, rhyme shceme and all,. thats what happens when your ina group with 2 ight lyrist. the only flaw in this verse i the first few bars in casey jones first verse, his flow is off on and off in this track, but besides that the other two deliver alost flawless lyrics. With record labels allready scoping casio ent its no wonder why there so confident in there work

RAS mas riddim ALBUM REVIEW

ras is a spanish/american rapper from allentown who flips from both languages in his rap style. The album starts off pretty slow with the repetitive el-dorado where there more chorous then actual bars in it and the dancehall style beats remind me alot of pitbull. The dancehall vibe is consitant though the album, that makes him sound more of a regae artist then a rapper. You can't deny that the beats on this album are deffintly body moving. He does prevail on boogie down production sampled game is over, that has a real good old school remiisance to it that is refreshing with a new twist on the classic, with ras spitting his best lyrics and best use of a consistant rhyme sceme on the album. Everytrack after this it seems ras's wordplay has gotten stronger though the album Even with a heavy mainstream apeal i have myself aprication this album and the prodution work ont he album deffintly feeling the invectus instrumental on the track party with me with ras nicley flows over this beat, plus a impressive verse spit by bombay. Besides having invective beats and dacehall club tracks ras spits on some interesting topics on the track 2012 were he spits his view on the uncoming consiracy of 2012 being the end of the world. And on the track memories ras talks bou tth ememories of past hip-hop, so this album was a nice listen

Rappers right now im actually a very respected music reviewer so unless your ill please dont send me a message stating review my cd THIS IS THE BEST MIXTAPE OUT OF NEW JERSEY YOUD EVER HERE, when possibly it sounds like trash. l-maze one rymes the same words the same time, has extended bars left and right, has a fauz soutern accent raps about drugs women and fake gansgastism claiming he busting gats, and selling "yayo by the pounds" pleaas my dude your another fake wangsta fromjersey that makes the state of new jersey bad please hang up the mic and never claim your the illest thing out of jersey again. He even attempts to be emotional with the track cant escape it but fucks it up realy bad with extened bas and lines like"i now what goes down in the hood so dont aproach me actign hards" and "i have magor label contacts that i just smoked though" man you cant even coplete a tripple multi u started "i'll have you body typed up ina black back you wack fags and toss you in the trash" that fucks up the flow man even when u try to be complex you fuck it up. tell your "homies" to please start listing to artist like fashawawn,. rakim, reks, vinni paz, a the rugged man if you wanna here reel rappers thank you

Yahmilll southsyde born easton raised ALBUM REVIEW

Remember this right now before anyone ask me to review your music, make sure your good or make sure you can take critism, yahmill is a paterson, newjersey emcee whos easton born and rasied. His latest album is called southsyde born easton raised. His flow is basic as can be but he does make up for it with some impressive metephors, like the first bar in the track welcome home "im on point like im guardign cris paul" witch is creative but yet again something simple that a average rapper could come up with, but still more then most rappers do now adays. Like usual with rappers one thing that pisses me off about yahmill is he's cocky and cant back it up to well. Even his delivery sounds like hes bored with his own music its just boring hes ight though, at least he has a track that i can vibe to without haven to rant about witch is stand the rain, even though rappers should never try to be singers his flow on this track is better and his delivery is a little sharper that its been the whole album, finally a track that hes doesnt sound born rapping. He comes realy deep with this track "ive been a victims ince birth with pain and hurt" and in his vocals you can feel it. why wasnt every track on here he spit with a nowon bored delivery. Yahmillhas potential with creative metaphos though and on his more meotional tracks vivid discriptions but he fails to devler wit this potential on over half the album witch is sad.

LOCAL RAPPER SPOTLIGHT: C-SPADE

c-spade of bethlehems tel's time entertainment has a impresive aresnal of punches unleashed in each one of his bars.
On the track pokerface he spits over a 70's jazz style beat showcasing his singature punchlines, while rapping bout how to bluff in life so you don;t get cought while hustling. Deffintly of the emcees to look out for in the valley in 2010. Not only a emcee c-spade is a talented graphic artist and local promoter, so his hustle in the industry is straight. as well as a skilled lyricist is also has his freestyle game honed down to a t, and with tracks like poppin like a tag that resemble mainstream music nowadays it would be nice to see a lyricist with a ill flow spitting on the radio so be on the look out for c-spade to do big things in 2010

dj absurd is a jersey producer that has steadily released mixtapes featuring the top underground emcees in the tri-state album, and on the fifth volume of his resume series he delievers just what u expect from his mixtapes pure raw lyrisim. Plus a bonus on this mixtape is the return of hands down the best emcee in new jersey cymarshals law, who comes back harder than ever with hard hitting metephors "im tip/top when hip hops in a tragic state im feeling myself every track i masterbate" and lets you know execactly what he feels on the tragic state of hip-hop "im tired of all these rappers who cannot rap and on the radio i barley hear a hot track. truest statement ever if cymarshal law listins to this mixtape he deffintly wouldnt be disapointed, deffintly not in his home state of jersey. Pryme prolifik and his fience tre-l come hard on the track making history while joey dynamite and pook washington come raw as ever bout the struggles of hsi everyday life "understand when i pull out and spray it on the coushins, its ot that i dont want a baby with u i just dont wanna polute the world from this individual" speaking true statements that pook aint ready for a kid. Now this is a mixtape worth listing too.

sitar spiderman chapter one of seven SINGLE REVIEW

http://www.myspace.com/sirprojectgrady

Sitar is a skilled and very intelectual poet/emcee out of wilkes barre, pa who has a vast vocabuly and a rhyme scheme that most rappers would be to dumbfounded by to enjoy. Most rappers try to force 2-3 rhymes in each bar in the track chapter one sitar one ups every emcee there is by rhyming every single word in each bar with the ones n the next, and he isnt doing this with simple one sylabl words, hes using words only you'd know if you was bored and studying the oxford dictionary. "buildin' automatic effection children of galatic reflection finding morals in ashesunderlying corals and crashesthus servants remain parrots" His style reminds me alot of canibus witch is refreshing with everyone trying to be the next trap star that theres some one with such a mind that even some college proffesors could get lost in his wordplay. This track is very impressive

Not only is j.rose buitfull and a amazing rappers shes always a deep poet and a edetorial writer for detriot based magazine sex apeal. with label conections though her brother and nems its only a matte of time that j.rose has brought real lyrism as a femcee in americas ears

phillup bank$ vol 2 ALBUM REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/pop-mixtape-player.php?id=m2782a83

Allentown native phillup bank$ has been on his grind for the past two years making himself know all over the liegh valley with his hand to hand hustling skills. His newest effort vol 2 is a deeper look into the personal struggles of phillup bank$. its always refreshing when emcees put there personal struggles and reality in there music instead of lying about there backround. By his lyrical style and ethnic background hes a producct of joel ortiz, except bank$ dont spit too much about hustle and about his daily struggle, this album sounds like it could be a audio audiobiography each track getting deeper. One of the better tracks on the album is farewell a ode to a women he loves he lost do to the fact he fucked up and played the playa card. The sequencing could of been a little better this track should of went after put your panties back on about him creeping around then it would of kept with the story style of this album. But at least hes a man who regrets his actions, but doesnt regret the struggle he went though cus without struggle lyrical greatness most times cant be achieved. The best track on this album is man in the mirror where he spits "i say its all good but its the opisite of things" witch shows hes a secretive person aroud people but keeps his painin for his music. deffintly felt this album

mb power moves ALBUM REVIEW

mB of easton pa has been one of the more impressive streat oriented rappers in the liegh valley, and in general when it comes to that genre of rap witch is flooded with wanna be gucci mayne, rick ross, plies and all these rappers who lie about there rep, but mb keeps it real in his raps and isnt basic trap mainstream trash, mb is not only for the streets but the real underground heads. Only the clipse in my book can compare as reel lyrcist in the coke rap genre. On the first track 2-102 mb spits over a gritty rock sampled beat repping the streets he comes from while spitting with his using gritty vocals, and street ebonic metephors. One of the standout tracks is a collab with easton native and cut-ent label mate bam the butcher on the street anthem murda the game. "all you faggot ass rappers in the game is shitting" mb tells it straight true and usually id bash a emcee for statmenets like this but mb is actually a very skilled lyrist that doesnt seem like he will be slowing down no time soon. also being deep with the letter to baby j wich shows he shows respects to his crew who helped him get where hes at and by lines like "remeber when u said id be in jail for drugs" it shows the death of his homie helped him pursue this rap music witch is also another win for the local scene not only did we gain a real lyricist we got a street hustler off the streats b-4 it was to late. MB should be insperation for all you streat hustlers.

h8trid personal vendetta ALBUM REVIEW

If you live in the liegh valley, ever been to crock rock. are a hardcore juggalo, or just read your local metromix, then you know allready that h8trid is probally the most known emcee in the local scene and you know that is buzz around the underground community is that h8trid is the next big thing in underground music. Now ive always took these statmenets as overhype since basing off h8trids older albums that h8trid realy isnt nothing special, but h8trid has promised his fans that personal vendetta he actually likes and that he usually doesnt like his own music, witch tells you what about a artist that releases music that himself dont like. By the first track the rock infused h8trid ive noticed a huge growth lyrically by h8trid, not only is his flow complexity improves, but his voice seems to be more polished then his usual efforts, but you cant always base one track on a album so i was still a little iffy for the rest of the album. deffintly after hearing the next track like damn that sounded like his old self, but he def redeamed himself on crashing down with durte. By the collabs on this album you can tell h8trid is very well connected in the underground community, with track with intrizik, tonez, king magnetic, and jise of the arsonist, by looking at this either hes spening money to get ill emcee collabs on his album or his hustle and lyrics have paid off. The collab with king magetic aas well as s2r's phatal life of rhyme doesnt sound like a average h8trid, track it actualy sounded like a acomplished underground track, not only king magnetics verse but h8trids chorous plus his verse. This album impressed me alot, even though he did have a huge huge flaw on the album the AUTONEd sex track noone fucks u better is dispaointed after listing to a matured h8trid. At least he ends the album with a very emotional song to his son chayce. Besides the one or 2 flaws on this album h8trid has grown as a emcee and has impressed

da stashbox presents reccesion city PART ALBUM REVIEW

dj 240 is back hosting the 2 compelation in the all liegh valley mixtape series recession city. Alot of the same emcees from the first one spit here and some newcomers, and its the newcomers who come the hardest this time around. C.spade grind in hustle has a assortment of some of the best metaphors in wordplay ive scene from the scene in a while "fuck cops i walk 8-mile for that chedda bob" is both creative and smart. This mixtape also shows the return of arison records l.money who hasent released new music in the past year and not only does he come hard on the track im good, but he shows that he's also the top freestylest in the valley. There are some disapointments on here though the bentley beamer bently/remix jacksosn, grants, benji,s by f.a.ce the beast. Its sad when taleneted lyrcist get stuck in the same pattern of music, its all about money, bitches, and cars, with the only thing going for him in this track is his delevery, as his lyrics arent the sharpest. Another disapontment on this track is the return of the infamous swag who apeared on the last recession city mixtape. This guy is a basic trap rapper who is a product of the hustle invested music industry. With a local scene that has national artist like king magnetic, adlib, goddilla, george burnz, and ali armz that have apearend on nationally pressed releases this albums pick of what they call the best of the valley is a little disapointing

2STOND has been a emcee thats grown on me, he started off realy basic with a flow i couldnt stand talking about dead bodies drugs and normal juggalo shit, but it seems after his latest name change (he changes his name more then diddy does) he has developed this real deep emotional side to his music. something i always like in a artist when they use there voice in this music as wel as there lyrics to make u enjoy a track. You can feel his pain in both his rapping voice and his haunting vocals he unleashes on his hook. This track is like a page out of my autobigorphy feeling like you dont know what to do withur life anymore after everyone pushes you away. on the 2nd verse is theheartfrozen kid his flow is a little off once and a while and his delivery is a little off but his metephors what save his verse overall this track is decent

Jake haze is a breathe of fresh air in hip-hop a optimistic emcee who spits about real life struggles, without making you feel pitty on him. Its also a nice think like i said in the take 2 review jake haze has alot of determination. His flow is a little sloppy a little even though he does attempt to save it, but its only in one part in the first verse a extenden bar that screws the flow a little. "i gotta alot of dreams and i'm filled with lots of hope" is one of those lines that makes jake haze a artist you need to listen to when i have a bad day like today my day sucked and hearing shit like that besides he usual im kil la chick makes me have hope fo rmyself and rap music itself. J.rose takes a 2nd away from tracks with meaning to go ona pure lyrical assault on her new track remember who i am. Her flow on this track reminds me alot of lil wayne but dont go off that her punchines wordplay and complexity within the verse is def the farthest thing from wayne or his protege nicki minaj. Again teaming up with her brother george burnz they straight murder ano domminis beat, but wouldnt you think 2 aclomlished rappers with such skills could get a actual producer. any way this sibling paring needs to release a e.p and start slanging to labels cus they def got the talent to revive nyc.

This i found on accident as one of the most viewed music videos in pa on youtube. Young trouble is a young aspiring rapper out of allentown pa, who's swag and voice remind me of soulja boy, so just by his looks and voice and age i was allready expecting horrible lyrics.
