Trash a Track Tuesday 3-29-11

RobDollaz Feat. ArmyGunz "The New Dynesty" review

red has always been a steady force in the lehigh valley rap scene from his regionally loved albums to his production to his eye for talent now he use's two of those things as he produces and introduces the valley to rob dollaz in a track feat armygunz and a directed by l.money (the same guy who did reds me) so im deffintly not looking to be disapointed. armygunz starts off this track hard as hell "mcdonalds chicken and fries who you taking orders for" a clever and orignal line you dont here stuff like that alot. hes lettign you know hes the genral and he ainttaking orders form noone. Now this association is a little diffrent then what you see from the more kaye style of redlight artist but red provided a beat to match these hard hitting lyrics. Rob dollaz comes on 2nd with heavy bragdacio "you wanna gamble with your life you can gamble if you like im in the hood all day in im trapping all night" letting people know to come see them if they dont wanan live in a lyrical sense cus the whole track he lets you know how ill he is with a stady wordplay some grimey lines "your a bitch an bitches ill slap them wit the five' having soem clever metephors "flow like a battery n* you gotta charge it" to a steady rhyem shem thoughout i hope to here more from dollaz

mr. b feat f.a.c.e the beat ADDICTED: REVIEW

http://soundcloud.com/facedabeast/addict-mr-b-ft-f-a-c-e-prod-by

I havent heard to much fro the lehigh valley r and b scene besides recently ari, oneseti of tribeland and thats probally it the latest valley vocalist is chedda records artist mr.b whom along with f.a.c.e the beast released the song addicted about love addiction recently. The first listen the track reminds me of joe buddens addictiion "you got it that touch i just cant get enough tempted likea drug yo got me hooked addicted" Mostly though the song there drug radled metephors usuing drug refrences for love metephors witch some are creative "your a drug and i wanna stay high you got me hooked im acusted for life, got me desperate i cant resist wanan get emssed up need your kiss" you can almost interchange this whole song into drug addiction but overall im feeling this alot its a nice r and b track over a nive beat that you can easily vibe to. When face comes in he comes in with a steady flow staying on the same subject metters and metephors as mr. b but ends with some clever lines "looking for a fix, she got it i want it like im high off crinic hooked like im baked" face is deffintly a beast like his name entitles. this track is a catchy mainstream style track and a treasure for the ears.

Arrie - All your Love

Arrie has some serious pipes on her as i stated yesterday, theres no reason why this girl doesnt have a deal, plus as a song writer she is alwso talented. Her single all your love is a vidid discription on her struggle on finding love and why its so hard to beelive it exist. "hey baby, you know i been though the river and back, i was bout to give love the middle finger till you came in my life" i like this line its such a true statement it takes someone special to open ones heart again while still keeping her guards up for hurt again "but im guarded and im bruised im so scared cus ive been used" shes explaining why shes struggling with the concept of love while giving that chance. This song is a nice pop track with a amazing video shot by fyls own george burnez

all the way turnt up remix: gino, joey mondeca, automatic, mr 420

http://soundcloud.com/joeymondeca/all-da-way-turnt-up-ft-gino

you know a artist has depth and pull in more then just the local scene if he a a collab with emcees in south carilina and orlando that all can hold there flow together. allentown natives, automatic, and joey mondeca team up with gino from greenview south carilina and mr. 420 out of orlando for there own version of roscoe dashes all the way turnt up. These artist prove that even though a beat is mainstream provided thres no way you have to tone down thre lyrics cus they didnt and they still came out with a banger in the end. gino starts off this track hard. he keeps the vibe of the orignal track money, women, and swag but with a flow smooth like his on a track that was orignally medicore can be forgiven, everyone got ther won preferences whats matters the most is the lyrics and in that department gino shines with no bras in his flow. His flow is basic at times but he holds a steady flow all the way though. mondeca jumps on the mic next, on the same tip as gino but his flow is more complex as he takes a double mlti flow to start the track, and keeps a one 2 flow thoughout. theres only one part i think his flow strays a little "she said time equals money im spend it with him, im spend the rest of the night with my henny turned up find me in vib brnign it up." to me it sounds extended but the end verse can be fogiven for a azmign overall verse. automatic comes on next he gets off the swag tip and goes on abotu who lsitens to his music "players wanan turn me up musics undianable msuic is undianble parents wanan turn me downthat influences kids at school" bar thers a little off but again though the rest of the track hes consitant mr 420 ends this track on a high note and overall finsihes a legit track

Tug McRaw - More Cocaine ft. Jynx & Ms. White

I know this is a little older from the end of last year but i was on a few months hiatus and just because i missed it when it came out im not gunna pass on reviewing a classic from abes illest spitter. First thing i will say this is one creepy video at times with jinx dressed as a coked up joker, but the creepeness is neccesary cus this is one dark track. when tugs starts spitting he goes vividly into a drug addiction, playing the role of a addict, explaining how all hsi problems disapear with the drug and how he doesnt hate himself why staying tweaked. "sometimes a dutch dont do it" he explains saying he ened strong stuff to keep him centered. Though this whole darkly woven story he keeps his undinable flawwless rhyme scheme though then ends the first verse perfectly and it also explaisn the true mind of a addiction in full "should just cut you off for killing my father" no offense tug but ninx outshines you on this track on a lyrical level and you know your in for something amazign if i mentioned he outshines tug. "at least when i fall the police im gun call and then im discrete when i ball elite when i crawl im semi complete when i stall defeat when i brawl" an dhe keeps this triple utli rhyem scheme thoughtout the verse. another flawless tug track

Campgrounds A.B.E. REVIEW

camgrounds is ed monsta, the fully blessed, and big serg, and at first listen you'd think that this is a gimick track. Just one of the millions of wanna b emcees wanted to make a (black and yellow remix cus black in yellow is this years a millie, but the purpose for this was to make a anthem from the ABE hip-hop music scene and they come though making a sure hit in the regional scene. ed monsta comes with a catchy hook that represents the abe to the fullest and it makes just anyone wanna jump up and chat ABE with him. big serg is the first emcee to spit on this track, starting about the street life of easton (those bullets fly when you up in easton" but this isnt a hood track its a valley track then he goes into how hes known in easton and allentown where staying with a steady flow. monsta comes next repping easton from the schools colors "black and red, blue adn yellow easton red boys in yellow" after that he gets into a nice multi rhyme scheme that he pulls off flawlessly in the delivery "hard in the paint just like mello mayback music like gurillas wivey sippin on morreta jays on my feat drop top yellow hae in the sweet nice in mellow ant u tel the way ii pedal" monsta destroys this verse BE LOOK FOR HIS DEBUTE MIXTAPE THIS YEAR. the fullyblessed ends it smoothly overall this is def the anthem for the 610

SO EXTRAORDINARY**L.A.DUBB,FALOUCHI, & SIZZY KODINE REVIEW

redtrybe has been around easton for a moment ut they have anew line up that is looking to show easton, pa may be the deepest plac eto find talent in the lehigh valley. la dub, sizzy kodine, and fouluchi team up for the track so extraordinary over a epic style beat produced by la dub himself. Not only is la dub a amazing rapper his production is top notch. red yee spits with a real layed back flow and a slow spittign dilivery to start of witch works to set his 16 up. his flow is off at times, but when u think hes gunan slip up he does catch himself witch is impressive. "like pitching pebbles in a puddle creatign a ripple just a miute ao the sea was tranquil i thank you to leave me aloen aston pas my home" nowhis isdeep but extended till la dubb rovides nicley written lyrics. falluchi pits secons probally the ebst verse on this track, with a steady flow that dont slip one bit "if my dicks o her mind them im fuckin her thoughts' metephorical but not orignal, stil a ill vrse. sizzy come sback hard at the end showing that isnt falling off anytime soon. overall retrybe is back

d-rangd never touched me REVIEWver

http://www.wix.com/overpowerproductions/d-rangd-music

d-ranged has shown a lot of growth as a artist as you could tell in his last release lyrical crack, and by hearing his new track never touch me you can tell he's still improving his skills like hes still got someothing to prove even though he allready has one of the biggest local buzz's when it comes as a artist. His latest single shows him growing with some slick metephors "all you pussy's must be on your period",to knowing how to switch his flow up for a impressive rhyme scheme, speeding up his raps when he hits a heavy multi line to make it perfect. He does that for most of the 2nd verse like he has something to prove. drangd is deffintly a artist i have respect for listens to critisism and comes harder after every release. deffintly will be waiting more from him

tug mgraw ATTACK! REVIEW

http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_7938961

Tug mgraw is coming off a huge year in 2010 after releasing the critically acclaimed album language arts to. He is currently working hard on LA3 at the moment but heres a newish track from tug. Now this isnt old its a scrapped track from LA2 but its new to the masses. There is no reason this song was cut tug is raw as ever on this track and attack! would of made a perfect fit for a classic album. Tug starts off wih a insane rhyme schemed filled with multi's throughout "rapforever stacking chedda got the flow to back the bread up making people clap nget up got the wackest rappers fed up" and he sticks with this rhyme scheme thoughout, while spitting some clever witty lines "i spit sick but im that medicine and that vaccine" i realy wanna know who's touching tug lyrically, and whoever the hater was on the blog saying hes wack dont know hip-hop. If tug keeps this up he may do the impossible TOP LA2

murdoc no hands REVIEW

TRIBLEAND doing huge things in the valley, i think there the group with the most love shown on eastcoast underground. This is the first single from artist murdoc off his upcoming solo album the polo affair. Murdoc starts off steady a simpple 2 multi bar with short lines, but he picks up the longer the first verse goes. "you fuckin with these killer g's wut-ang flow bitch ima killa b somebody asked me how itmiating killers be you wanna knwo so bad come and see". mudocs flow deffintly is smooth probally one of the most lyrical in the tribeland crew. The rest of the track shows no flaws, i def will be on the lookout for the polo affair

One she probally has the best quility recording i have heard from any artist ive reviewed, this track sounds like it was professionally recorded. this is a nice pop diddy about how life expeirences got her thinking if she new about the world as a kid would she have lived life differently. Not only is she a amazing vocalsit she actualyl wrote this track soemthing singers nowadays dont do. Only think imnot feeling is the budbblegum style beat but overall deffintly the best set of vocals ive heard ina while

Nems - I Get Down Feat. Iron Solomon and Vanguard Prezident's Day

fyl (fuck ya lyfe) is the essence of nyc hip-hop the most versitile and deepest posse of talent probally in the underground at the moment. If its george burnz and j.orse, or its the gernal himself nems and the svengeli brothers (yea if you know true ny hip-hop you remeber vanguard and solomons group) the artist on fyl always come with that true ny sound, and nems newest release with vanguard and iron solomon is no diffrent. variant dash supply's a amazing beat that reminds you of true 90's style nyc hip-hop those raw kick back beats with amazing soul samples *yea producers still sample from the old days) not only does dash produce a amazing track he catches amazing visuals also as the director of this video. He catches visually the greatness of ny if its a upclose of the brooklyn bridge or its the gritty street scenes they rap on. Now lets go on the lyricist nems is still grimey as ever proving why his punchlines made him one of the deadliest free style battle rappers eber. "nems the igant general you still a small soldier, your mom dukes a shit kickin ogre? nems not only is the grimiest emcee out he also is one of the deadliest lyrist period keeping a steady flow thoughout the whole track even though he does stay with his violent punchlines but thats what hes known best for and i wouldnt want a change from him. Vanguard spits next and again impressing, even though on this track hes the weakest but its hard to outshine two legends like nems and solomon. Now we end it off with mr. freestyle solomon who has olways had a problme rapping on beat but he has finally got that down pat. His flow is smooth "i'll take your queen ill make her scream" pure genious talking about in chess as he finsihed you metephorically and taking your girl. NYC HIP_HOP LIVES IN FYL

Matt Maddox - Scars n Stripes Feat. CANIBUS review

I recently just came across probally one of the best underground labels recently when godilla mentioned he was signed to redphone records. I go and check out the rest of the artist and there colab portfolio is as impressive as godilla's and so is there lyrical ability. Im start by brining the blog Massachusetts native matt maddox whom along with RAP LEGEND CANIBUS bring a pure onslough of lyrical talent on a banger with a epic uplifting beat by ganjak. "you know im blowing up like the death star when im soundbombing you get bodied like you fuckin with escobar." matt maddox goes in on this track. "the gory watchmen talking the holey doctrine rockin egyptian cotton rocking with okinmotin." maddox's wordplay is impressive adn it stays though this track. Canibus liek usual detroys but im not going to far about his verse im about showing the illest unknown in the easton coast so thats wellill stay def cant wait to there more out of redphone records

Mani tha Nigatar "Get it all In"

Mani the nigatar is deffintly the most unique emcee out of the valley a jamacian reggae/rapper who spits over live guitar that he plays. A true musican at all levels, the track starts off with a heavy guitar riff with a catchy hook thats both uplifting and inspiring "go head and live your life, if not your pay the price prevent a day from passing by get it in before your fly" letting people live your life to the fullest if not you wont havea second chance to fix regrets. once the first starts im allready impressed by his lyrical ability starting off heavy with the multiple rhyme scheme and it stays constant though the whole verse but towards the middle that where he impresse's the most goign into triple multip paterns to the end of the track for the last 4 bars. One this guy is more a ragae artist more thena rapper and he raps better then 95 percent of all artist. As a artist hes the full package the guitar riffs are on point lyrics on point. Also to make this track better jnuno shot a amazing video, getting nice imagery up close shots of mani spitting his tracks over brige with the dcities lights behind him. to him palying his guitar outside of the lit hotel. this track is dfeffintly one of my favriote ive reviewed since ive been back

Joey Boca "Bare knuckles"

The lehigh valley has become the hot bed for true lyricist now adays with artist coming out spitting streats tales with gritty vividness and actually living it, and again heres another hood struggle froma valley native joey boca. "i was raised in the spot whee my mom and pops used to cook up, distrubet the rocks from yellow tops got the hooks up" boca spits viidly on how he grew up in the game and showing steadily thoughout how hard the streat life is. "go to school get a job why you young let it up a word froma vet so stay listen to mama dukes" spitting rhymes also about telling younger people it isnt a game you dont want to enter. boca lets you into his past so you can understand why he is the way he is so when he gets to the chorous "everything i do in life is just to make it and if i have to go and get it im take it" showing though how he was raised hell do whatver possible to make it. 2nd verse starts hard impressive multiple schemes "walk in the rain fighting the pain trying to hold on forfit the brains lookign for change trying to move on fight for my rights fighting the case but im still wrong" boca is impressiive most lyrically and in the reality department. Deffintly a good track

Ed Monsta - Flow REVIEW

After i interviewed monsta i had a few people asking me exactly who he is since the blog has actually never reviewed him before and the only info they know is he's the newest member of tribeland. Monsta's been around for a minute from collaborating with jesery based casino to j.qwest now hes out to release his first solo mixtape so lets see what we should expect. Like stick money track you need to listen carefully since this track isnt that loud unless its my headphones i dont know. " i spit sick leave your speakers sneezing" ed starts off on the creative tip, plus orignality cus most emcees spit metephors that all sound the same so its nice to see a new metaphor concept you havent scene. Monsta stays with a steady flow no forced multi's off lines at all impressed. Im about half way though this track adn this track is one long flow no hook (sans the title) 2 minutes plus of a pure lyrical assault and not at all does he get off point. Deffintly a impressive effort.

Illa Metaphors Music rap genous REVIEW

When you here a track intitled rap genious you usually in for a track with false bragadicio saying how there so amazing of a lyricist and 95% of the time thats the case wack emcees claiming there the "rap genious" but lucky for us ill metephors can rap about being a rap genious because with a flow like that he is a rap genious. "i'm super lyrical with brain boost of chemicals twisted tentacles inside of my mental projectible" and this is only the chorous. if a emcee puts that much tiem and talent in perfecting a choruous with multiple rhyme schemes you know your expecting it for the rest of the track. "He spits about stopping drugs t, what he coudl of been and where hes gunna be showing the show truth of a lyricist. This is a amzing track by a emcee im suprised i havent heard of before. "from the belly of theheart i stay spitting" a true line froma true lyricist that spits from the heart. im deffintly keep posting more on illmetephors so keep on the watch

tribeland records have been putting depth in there label latley first with the signing of ed monsta now they bring in bruce banna. Like the rest of tribeland banna spits hard and gritty, he has a decent flow, track dispolays some use of internal rhyming and has spots with transformers metephors. Unlike the rest of tribeland bannan's track seems to glorify violence "leaving bodys floating in rivers, chickin gizards and there livers were murdis killers, we got more bodies then hitler.' lyricall you cant deny he does impress at times so make sure to be on the look out more from bruce banna

young trouble meet me at the top REVIEW

Ohhh no!!! i bet people are saying another young trouble track its time for the wack bashing, AMAZINGLY THIS TRACK GOES IN. as trouble has told me himself "HE AINT A LYRICAL RAPPER HE DOES IT FOR THE MONEY" so when he goes in as a lyrcist he may still not be top notch valley talent but hes a decent lyricist and if this is freestyled OFF THE DOME then this is impressive in not just by his standards. The lyrics are a little basic but he puts more emotion and heart into this then he does usually with his music. "im trying to get out of the struggle so im chasing to the bill" so hes doing what he has to do to get out of the struggle shit but he gets on some real subject matter, war, "healthcare liqious store why they still sell guns they make war" i was deffintly shcoked by this track prob the best ive ever reviewed trouble

young swag lyrical therapy pt 2 REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/pop-mixtape-player.php?id=mffc3ca3

Like i said in the review before young swag has deffintly matured on the mic seeming like he's taking this rap shit serious nowadays and by listening to his new album "lyrical therapy two" you can tell this is one emcee went out to make a amazing album. from the first track "large on the streets" you can tell by line slike "get to stepping like nuclear weapons like japans team" that his style has complexed past his olden basic style. Besides stepping up lyrically this is a very deep album going in to his personal life in understand me "never had a father" to tracks like love and affection when he spits about a abusive realtionshio in such vivid details "love isnt a man beaten you to the floor". Perfection takes time though he has improved but he still has his flaws like the track on the mic well he gets on a sexual tip and the first few bars are bais c then he proves me wrong later in the same track with nice multiple rhyme schemes. this album for the most part is consitant but there is A TRACK that rises heavy above the rest and that is the pen is my gun. "the pen is my gun shooting to the ink is done taking rappers out one by one" this track goes heavy as can be spitting about how hes out to take the crown as the best emcee killin emcees left and right. overall swag game hard on this album and this is deffintly a deep album that shocked and impressed me. This is a deep look into his life his struggles his pains and his mind a type of album rappers need to release more oftern

Real Love by The Infamous Swagg

I know ive had alot of hate on the younger cats in the valley, thats because most of the time they dont put there heart into there raps. No matter whose spitting on the mic if you put your heart and show true lyrical ability even if ive shown hate on the blog before on you if your deserving of praise ill be the first person to man up and do it. I'll say this swag has deffintly matured lyrically and this track is a deep tale on the struggles of the hearts that almost every man thats reading this can relate to. "she says she loves me but i never see it and gets mad when i dont belive itA" swag keeps it real spitting lines that ever guy can relate to. You can feel his pain in his voice as hes spitting this witch also shows a talent of a budding emcee realness. this track def goes deep bigup swag you put out a banger

Virtuoso - In My Lives

Its been a while since ive heard anything from virtuoso. he's always been a big part of hip-hop if it wasnt for big bang records acts like jus allah may have never been heard. virtusou returns after a almost 6 year hiatus since his last album with last years the final conflict. whats refreshing about this is he deffintly hasnt fell off at all. "im just a channel tuned into a piano" vividness like this shows he dont let any get to him and zones out to his music a trate alot of rappers nowadays lack, since they let beef and money get the best of them and loose control of whats truely important, the music. This track is deep also complex witch is somethign you never see in a track thats purpose is a farewell track to the lost. "do your best not to eat your own soul distressed" he speaks on real subjects on this song, 911, katrina, the onyl thign bad is he fits to much stuff in one track but besides this this is deffintly the escense of true hiphop

INTERVIEW WITH JAKE HAZE

www.myspace.com/hazemobilee abyss: when it comes to lehigh valley hip-hop your probably one of the most known, from emceeing, to producing, to your website dastashbox.com witch is the main source for the lehigh valley hip-hop scene and you did all of this in a year you came out of nowhere to leave a big impression did one day you just wake up ad say i wanna be heavily involved in hip-hop or was his something you was building on gradually? jake haze: It was definitely a gradual process, it was something I planning from 2007. I was gonna drop me and my squad's music, but back a couple years ago, that meant Myspace limbo. So that's when I decided to drop Da Stash Box. It was a place we could ALL be seen at that we badly needed abyss:you've been working on a new album the resume, what can we expect from it and who can we expect to see you working with both production wise and collaborators jake haze: The Resume actually is a mixtape with some of my best work and new songs. It's the songs that either have been most praised by my listeners and peers, songs that i've performed, unreleased collabs and new music. Red Mcfly produced a joint on it. Phillup Banks is on it. Omar, Colodge, T Marz. My whole Stash Box family. A J-Rock and Mel da Maverick track featuring me is on it. It's a good listen. abyss: whats your view on the current state of hi-hop both nationally and locally jake haze: . Nationally it's OK. I see the industry is shifting, and so is music. It's evolving. Locally? Everyone is buzzing and putting out dope content. Valley going H.A.M. this year abyss: what inspired you to get into hip-hop d who inspires your style? jake haze: Dr Dre and Wu Tang. I've always heard them and they inspired me hugely. I also like to incorporate differ genres into my music. The beauty of hip hop is you can take from other music genres, and you can still make it 100% hip hop. Hip Hop itself inspires me abyss: i first heard of you as a producer, if heard your beats have you sold any beats and who have you produced for or do you just do it as a side thing? jake haze: Yea FACE Da Beast made a banger from my beats, Ms Mello, Big Truck, Zo, Colodge, Jewlz abyss: congrats on the lv muic award for the track summer dreams i even said myself that was one of the standouts of your album do you hae any other tracks you plan to release as a single? jake haze: Yup, Get Used To My Name the video dropping soon. Also, I'm Gone aka Pothead's Anthem. Then I'm gonna move onto new material. abyss: you have gotten your name out though the internet heavy but the basis of hip-hop game froma strong street hustle you think physically pushing your product is improtant anymore since the internet came around? jake haze: It's equally important. Last year I physically passed out 2000 copies of my CDs, and flyers, Stash Box Newsletters, at the Lehigh Valley Music Conference, the Lehigh Valley Music Fashion Expo, at the awards themselves, Harlem, Phoenix AZ, New Jersey. It's alot of footwork. Internet is only a part of it. abyss: i havent heard anything from you redtop city click ina while can we be epecting anything soon from them? jake haze: Colodge dropped a new video a couple weeks ago, On My Shit. And a new single produced by me called Is This On is making rounds. We're hoping to drop Welcome To Red Top City 2 and Recession City 3 very soon

IDE, June Marx, Godilla - No Choice REVIEW

The best thing about underground hip-hop s you dont need hooks to make a classic track, a posse cut with 3 of the illest up and coming artist will make it A true hip-hops ears blead, witch exactly this track does. Produced by norman crate june mar, godilla, and ide go on a pure lyrical onlough that has been missed since the days of wu-tang besides he aotp posse cuts. ide stats his track with some amazing wordplay and keeps steady though this whole verse "autographs no dreams auto-graphed" shows thi emcee isnt basic an has a ability to com up wih true original metaphors. june marx spits second never disapointing showing hs one of the illest emcee's and leting emcees know beef isn his game "hold your beef dont include me in you covo's" he rather worry about proving to you why hes one of the best up and coming emcees in the game. Easton pas lyrical assasin godilla ends this track with his slick wordplay and tarts of with a rhyme schme that will send a chill up your spine "my presence undetected confused forensics who constue my message." overall track is amazing

Straight from the Heart ft Pryme Prolifik & Seb Zero

even though i promote a lot of vally and ny cats dont forget the emcee's who keep hip-hop in there heart from jersey. I also cant forget the people who i first came across in the local scene in rotten garden records the first group to show love for my blog and my music hustle. On that note these are probally 3 of the 5 illest emcees in jersey n it comes to pure lyrical ability. Pryme prolifik starts off strong. "im what they need in this game and i dont need the fame" pryme keeps it real on all levels showing hip-hop needs true emcees spitting it than the wacks who you here on the radio. sub zero spits second wih some nice metephors "i spit shard like a exacto" also ending with a amazing multi rhyme sceme "im picking up the peaces like reaces telekinesis in thesis with reasons to speak lke heavens so frequent>" you know a artist is ill if you have o keep rewing back to catch every moment. Juktapose ends the tracks showing why hes on eof the most talked abou emcees in jersey. This is a nice track in the slow evival of the genre

stick money dear hip-hop REVIEW

stick money is a emcee i just came across and besides his recording quility hes a emcee i see alot of promise in. First thing i gotta say is you have to lisen very carefully because the quility is a little distorted. Thi strack is a deep look into his views on the fading hip-hop scene. "last time i seen you you were rolling with tims" a time in hip-hop when rap was gitty now its flashy diamonds fruity loop colored skate shoes and grills, the true heart of hip-hop is dead and its a sad fact. He then ges into the pac biggie beef showing how the game got out of control and led to the death of 2 of the most beloved emcees. I love tracks like this cus you dont see many emcees taking time to reflect on the good and bad of the hip-hop scene. im end this by saying STICK MONEY IS THE EMCEE TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2011, incs his name wasnt buzzed aot last year this year is his year to break in locally.

phillup banks mr. commerical ALBUM REVIEW

http://www.datpiff.com/Phillup-Banks-Mr-Commercial-mixtape.214264.html

phillup banks is definitely the most constant emcee with the biggest grind in the lehigh valley. From dropping a new music video once a month to bi- monthly mix tapes. If there is a emcee in the valley who knows the road to success banks is definitely him. Though banks is most known for his raw street tracks such as "regrets, and calling me to his deeper cuts as "man in the mirror" his new album mr. commercial shows not only is banks the most constant emcee in the valley he is also the most versatile. This album is the album a artist would release if there looking for a deal so at first skip though this album seing the mainstream vibe of the album i was hoping banks woulnt be like most emcees and soften his lyrics for comerical success but lyrically banks is sharer then ever even though from the first track on the album i do have a complaint on the lack of originality since shorty sounds like a fat joe track but banks does hold lyrical strong. The one thing that does sray me away from the lyrics is the half-ass beat collection, yea this album is ment for commericial use but there are alot of commerical tracks with bumping beats. This album also lacks alot of depth this album 90 percent of it is a album meant for the ladies witch isnt a problem, since everyone's looking for love and some of the emcees who rep the ladies he hares are the strongest with the punchlines like fabulous. The albums stand outs are definitely feeing witch is a heavy hitting club track about seing a chick in the club you know is sweatin you hard. banks stays with his multi rhyme screams in this track from the begiign to end, and the track fawewell is also one of m favriote on this album. Its a coffesional track to a women a track everyman would have to relate to, creeping on a women, and most rappers brag aout i banks is asking for forgiveness thouhout this track. Overall if banks goal is airplay this is deffintly the album for it lyrically he still impresses to.

producer showcase: 4th assasin

http://www.reverbnation.com/#!/4thassassin

The lehigh valley has become the new hotbed for the best in underground hip-hop, whether its acclaimed emcee's (king magnetic, tug mgraw, adlib, godilla) or the producers providing the soundtrack for there lyrical onslaughts. One of the front-runners in the production department is a phillipsburg new jersey native who goes under the moniker 4th assassin. His beat style varius from underground to even some old school vibes like in his track 6th feat underground. That track you can just visualize the 80's early 90's rap scene and just kick back and relax. If your a emcee who likes a producer with epic beats whom using a lot of horns and other instruments in his beats this is defiantly a producer you wanna holla at. Overall in my opiion the beat i like the most is alone. Its a nice deeply woven instremental with a nice guitar loop though it that you'd see emcees liek slaine ill bill, and everlast spit on. Overall 4th assassin is a top 5 producer in the valley so you emcees stop sleeping on one of the best producers aroun

George Burns Best Kept Secret REVIEW

its been a little while since ive heard anything new from george burnez dont worry he has about 3 new projects in the works at th emomen tand you should know you will be impressed thats why when his new video cam eout i knew i was in for a treat Each time i here a new track from burnez the more im impressed by his lyrical ability. Burnz takes a second away from his usual meanigfull tracks or gansgsta tales to go on a pure lyrical assault, letting every one know hes the best emcee you havent heard of. He starts off with nice acient metephors "im deeper then the tombs in egypt i cant say no more it wouldn't be a secret, and he shouldnt be a secret for long if he keeps grinding the way he is, deffintly with a track like this thats reminicent of canibuse's style shows that george burnz is a very diverse rapper, witch is hard to come by now adays.

Long Ago - Sticky Money review

first i have to say the sample that starts this beat is haunting and the beat is amazing, so if he comes wack on this i will be overally harsh. First thing though is im start negetive the quility is pretty bad, you have to realy listen to make sticky,s lyrics but when you do you find it is worth the struggle to here this track. "long, nights short days trying to get this money by all ways, put it in persepctive nowadays is reckless, getting booked for a car killed for a necklace fiends are desperet" sticky provides vivid details of the gritty truth of the streat life. and keeps a true persepctive on how hard life actually is. his flow does stray at times, but overall this is deffintlly a track worth chekcign out

PARTIES OVER FEAT DAMA NILZ AND J.ROSE review

J.rose and dama nilz are probally to of the illest femcees on there way to stardom both out of the rotten apple nyc. J.rose as ive metioned thousands of times is one of the most refreshing femcees in a while, shes not all about sex, drugs, violence like most femcees are most of her tracks have meaning, that doe'snt mean she dont have her street gritty style at times. "there was coke there was x there was weed, now me and dama got a little trick up are sleave, where dope boy fresh gotta come out to the beach cus he think where gunan play strip tease" j.rose still got her flow on point the only thing that kills the verses is that there two short to peak but besides that both femcees murder this joint. dama nilz flow is smooth complex and would murder most male emcees )remeber even talib kweli gave her probs) "seen my name on the guest list so guess where the text is he sweats clits thats what you get for bieng sexest," as you see her flow is on point all the way though both these femcees complainent themselves well and def cant wait to here more

vic prez this thing of ours ALBUM REVIEW

http://www.myspace.com/krooklinx

This album may be older but when it comes to valley talent def talent that i jus came across from i need to let my opinion be know. prez is actually a realy refreshing listen, most artist in the valley are all one one style, underground lyrical assault, some poppish rappers, gangstas, prez has some upbeat beats and lyric content that is graphic and yet funy witch reminds me of eminem, ra the rugged man and emcees around that line. One track that shows his sick twisted humor is basic punishment. from the opining skit "im a Jehovah witness leave me alone prez" then hes beating his ass, his punchlines are witty and definite original "your mother was my lover hey marty that was a great stake" and even what makes this track even more fucked up for the fact that it sound likes a child abuse track a first till u see its a diss track, and how sickening it is the beat is so uplifting you cant help bt laugh. prez dont stay comical the whole time though he shines best on his more seious track like the track sometimes spittin gover a haunting beat, "im the result of two spliffs and a wisky" showing vividness that hes knows he was a mistake and people obviously lt him know that witch leads into his suicidal ode of song. "o kicked out my moms crib for all the drugs i did" this line reminds me alot of bizzare and if he was being comical like other songs then he'd sound it but this is actually a very personal look into his own pain, his strugle with religion, family sit really deep. he stays on this tip on the track love is lost to with a epic beat. h does get on a homicidal and suicidal tip, so you can tell hes a emcee who dont give a fuck about himself or what you care about him. This album does get off tip with balla proof the tracks like a r.kelly spoof about chicks who dont iv eup o he ballas, but when prez sits his griminess "she waned me to cum in her ass with the anal lube" shows even though this track is ifrent hes stil him just mocking the industry definitely a good listen

Phillup Banks Featuring Marixsa "Calling Me" review

phillub banks is hands down the emcee with the valley with the heaviest grind dropping a new music video about once a month steady releasing mixtapes only bi-monthly and still no signs that hes ever gunna fall of. When it comes to realness and storymode banks got it on lock. His latest track is a autiographical track about the struggles of leaving the streat life no matter how hard you try to. This is a track all wanna b hustlers should l isten to the POWER OF A DOLLAR. "the streets done raised me momma's little baby she asked how come it makes more sense my income more o's in your checks" he talks about the ups and downs on his hustle from getting kicked out of school, to jail bigs and how much more addicting it became with when wieght got involved. banks gives a very personal very intimate look into his life and he does so with every track he releases. maixsa's chorous "this game keeps calling me" sets the perfect mood for banks struggle to overcome the devil on his back. "these other rap cat lyign otu of face talkign bout murder your hearing my pain" banks is deffintly one of the realest emccees in the valley and with his constancy out of late hes also the most promising emcee out of the valley

LPerfex "100 MC SALUTE " 2011 review

Im loving the hip-hop im getting to review todays, getting to reminisce back to the golden days of hip-hop, can get a break from all the dance bullshit you here on the radio. Lperfex came with a salute to 100 of the illest emcees in this game "big up to rakim krs and koolg rap" while the hwole time keeping to a steady flow. This video should be shown in a hip-hop 101 class so uncoming rappers know who birthed this great genre and colture we fell in love with. lperfex even gives hopes to the female emcees while showing respec to some of the illest femcees to ever hold a mic "sista soulja, monie, love, queen latifah, mc lyte miss melody big ups to roxanne and the real shantte. lperfex perfected this track to a t and till the last verse i agree every emcee he uped deserves the shoutout besides the wayne ludacris, nelly, ja rule shoutouts l-perfex perfexted a history lesson of probally the top 100 emcees that changed hip-hop. if you don't know rap please listen to this now, and it doesnt hurt that meat beats supplied a very smooth laid back intstremental to help u reminsice

CRIS PROLIFIC featuring K BANGER i reminise REVIEW

xxl needs to go though youtube and the blogs before so post bullshit statements like nyc has fallen off in the rap game and some how fred the godson is the enxt big thing out of the rotten apple. dont get me long red is ill reminds me alot of biggie but i'm guessing xxl havent heard of chris prolific. This track actually has me reminsing from the begining riff you here in the instremental it brings you back to late 80's early 90's hip-hop, to when his lyrics kicks in and he gives you a history lesson of both himself "back in my days i wish i had things my way little did i know what i loss is what i gained" to the old school recordings "my blank maxwell cassete on record steady blazing" to how it used to be for producers before programs made it eaiser "record shops searching vinyls lookign for that perfect beat theh search was trible." now if you don't know hio-hop not the hsitory of the genre but the way true emcees spit and how they recorded there classic. This is a history lesson to the golden days of true perfection in your art before the mainstream industry went to hell. Now ifi nyc hip-hop is dead i must havea bad taste in music

The Round Table by tribeland records REVIEW

When it comes to collectives in the valley tribeland records is probally the second strongest to freedom 30 with every emce on the label lyrically raw. Tribeland besides being one of the strongest groups when it comes to flow and subject matter tribleland is deffintly the most "raw" in the arae with there drug addiled metephors reminsiant to the clipse and there hood tales. on there latest track ras geez, majuk, hitman, fred savage, and murduc go to the underground no hook just a five minute raw lyrical assault. Ras geex starts this track off with a line that even the clipse would think is impressive " cooked coke flow you know for rap addicts" his whole verse is metephorical if its simple got hits like irichio to clever ""geez got you popping up like peek a boo" the lyric assault continues with majk now majyk isnt the strongest rapper in tribeland but he holds himself strong though this track deffinlty at the end of the track when his rhyme scheme hits harder, then hitman comes with his usual ruff hitting delivery, geritty punchlines and smooth hitting flow, again ending strong "your a bugn of losers seventy sixers" savage and murco finish off one of the hardest tracks to come out of the valley latley again i usually don't do this but ill rate overall plus emcee since theres so many emcees on this track overall B+ out of ten raz geez: 10 majyk: 7 hitman: 8 fredsavage: 8 murdoc: 9

Face Da Beast "Letter To Mondo" REVIEW

This is another one of those video's like red mcly's me that the video tells the story of what your about to here, but unlike sieing whats going on you see here the pain in face's look an dhis friends while rapping about the death of his boy. Josh rameriz did a brilient job in shooting this video proving why hes the most on demand director in the valley. From face rapping straight to mondo in his grave to small scenes where face is just rappingn by the bars you can see his pain as well as herehis pain in his lyrics. not only is this a terrific video this is a terrific song. Very vivid full of discriptions from how he got murdered to how it effects everyone. This whole song is a terrific tribute in all ways, the only complaint here is face's lyrics aint as strong as usual but still ill but when it comes to tracks like this emotion shines the hardest witch makes this track something you deffintly need to check out rating A+

INTERVIEW WITH GODILLA

http://www.myspace.com/licensed2illa

abyss: as a artist you have a impressive resume of collaborators ranging from general Steele of smith and Wesson to thirsten howl and countless others, artist you probably looked up to in he start of your career now working with artist you listened to do you feel like you made it as a artist?

godilla: I'm sure I haven't made it as an artist succeeding on the business end of things, but artistically I feel like I'm doin my thing. It's incredible to do songs with artists who I grew up listening to and who are well respected in field artistically. It's even better to get that mutual respect back and have them actually support the product. It would be one thing if people just gave me a verse, but these brothers actually support my movement which makes me feel like the mission is accomplished on the art side of things.

abyss: lyrically you probably have one of the most complex flows ive heard from in a while has anyone or anything inspired your style of rap?

godilla: Thanks for the compliment...glad to see people are listening to the flow and catching the little things whether it's multi syllables or a slick funny line. At the end of the day I'm inspired by any artist pushing the bar lyrically.

abyss: whats your opinion on the current state of hip-hop?

godilla: Hip-Hop is constantly goin thru cycles and right now it seems that were in a pop cycle. Some of it I like some it I don't. It's def better than it was at the start of the decade. I like the breath of fresh air some of the new kids bring to the game whether it's the abstract shit like Tyler The Creator, the accessibility in Wiz Khalifa or the J.Cole's. We should have choices of what we want to listen to. I remember back in the day I would watch Video Music Box and you would see BDP, NWA, Geto Boys and Twin Hype in a 15 minute interval. Whether I liked it or not wasn't the case. It was just ill to have those choices. Now a days it feels like programming force feeds you one type of style with a shit load of carbon copies of the originator. Half that shit people do now would get you fucked up at a show lol. So to answer your question, yeah I like what's goin' on Hip-Hop at this particular time

abyss: your releasing your next mixtape battlebeast during this summer who are some of the collaborators and producers we can look forward to seeing on this release?

godilla: Battlebeast-A Prelude To Human Zoo will be released this summer thru Redphone Records. It's not a mixtape, but a collabo album with a few solo joints on there. Some of the guests vocally are my Freedom 30 crew, Thirstin Howl The 3rd, Life Long, June Marx, Nine, King Magnetic, Toussaint The Liberator, Scheme, Tone Liv among other people I fux wit. Shouts to all who lent their talents to the project. Production wise I got Haze Attacks, Ali Armz, Weirdo, Fascist Beats, Nemisis, Dj Rybe, The Grim Reaperz, Stu Bangas, Boognasty, Qwan and some other ill dudes that hold me down production wise

abyss: suprilla in my mind was a local classic and a concept we don't see nowadays a emcee/producer album reminiscent of eric b and rakim would you plan on putting a album like that again?

godilla: I'd would like to and it's a matter of scheduling. Reign Supreme and I have been in talks of doin another one in the future, but it's really a matter of taking the time and doing it right. I know a lot of people love that album regionally so if we do it, we gonna have to clear our schedule for a few months and do everything from scratch. That's how our last one was made so why fix it if it ain't broke. Funny you mention it I just released it as a download on www.thehiphophead.net and it got over 300 dl's in 2 days. I didn't know the demand was there lol.

abyss: whats the status on freedom 30 there were talks around the valley late last year of a local super group with u adlib, ali, caesar glomgold are there plans on a album or is it just a click type thing?

godilla: Peace to my F-30 brothers Ali Armz, Adlib, C.Glom and Aeyone. I would compare F-30 to somethin similar to how DITC rocked. We are all on each other's projects and you can catch us doin shows and songs together. Again it's time scheduling. We wouldn't rush an album and force it out. We grew up on having a certain bar of music. So when it does come out, please know it will be a problem!!! Get me 200 people who would be interested in doing pre orders and maybe we'll put more effort into gettin it done.

abyss: you have worked with a few top notched underground producers, snowgoons dj kwestion of jtm, is there anyone who; on your wish list to work with?

godilla: I've been blessed to work with great talent production wise...I would love to work with Dj Premier, Agallah, Sid Roams and Alchemist

abyss: after you appeared on snowgoons black snow did your fan base get larger in the hip-hop community since there a german based production company

godilla: Yeah working with The Snowgoons always helps. The have such a strong support system and their fans are such die hards. Shouts to Mannu and the rest of the Goons!!!

abyss: do you plan of making rap a career or is it more just a hobby?

godilla: Rap isn't a career or hobby to me. It's a lifestyle. Is it paying my mortgage and car note...No! I've been blessed to be heard and get some doe on the side, so I'm def not mad at that. I think being in a small town like Easton and being heard to the extent I have is a feat in itself.

abyss: what or who'm inspired you to rap?

godilla: I was inspired by the culture. Whether it was the graff artists, dj's or style in the way we was dressing back in the day. It was just fly to me and I was captivated at an early age. I always wanted to be a DJ, but never had the doe so I got biz with a pen and a pad. What's cheaper than a notebook and pen?

interview with adlib

www.myspace.com/adlib

abyss: first off i wanna congratulate you on the illroc signing, as ive seen in the last few years you have coll abed with alot of hip-hop legends in the underground community plus ive noticed your style is a mix of punk rock and rap have you had other offers or did illroc seem like the perfect fit for you do to your style?
adlib:ILL-ROC to me isn't just a Label..Danny Diablo showed me nothing but love and respect since the day I met him..Regardless if I signed a deal tomorrow to a major I'll still be ILL-ROC..Danny wants everyone to get out there and be able to make a living a lot of CEO's don't care about the artist they are looking for a quick buck he isn't like that..I respect that so I'll ride for him no matter what.

abyss: Ive been following your music for about 8 years now and you first got on the mad in 02 with never enough that won philly hip-hop video of the year and philly has a huge rap scene as seing your from philly are you active at all in the philly hi-hop scene since your a heavy contributer with the valley scene even started the hip-hop showcase at pitchers?

adlib:At that time in Philly there was a amazing scene going on..honestly almost everyday of the week there was something going on..I'm happy to have been apart of it.
As far as ABE my family moved to allentown when I was about 20 I followed about a year or 2 later and have been back and forth a few times! I have built life long friends here. And most of the artist on my inner circle are all from or live now in the ABE..Godilla, Ali ArmZ, AeyOne, Caesar Glomgold, Uncanny and King Magnetic..I just moved back to Philly I'll be working with my Krush Unit fam for a SnowGoons record and also with my Dj Stress on a Stress Files EP..but I'll be in Allentown every Thursday for THE NETWORK @ Pitchers on Union Blvd.

abyss:what inspired you to become a rapper and was rapping your first choice of music to pursue?

adlib:I got into rapping because I knew Slick Rick, Special ED and Fresh Prince songs word for word..me and my boy word make stupid shit up just fuckin around..then when we got into Public Enemy NWA Epmd and I started to get more serious. When Cypress Hill Redman and House of Pain dropped forget it! It was over for me I never stopped writing from that point

abyss:whats your take on the current state of hip-hop?

adlib:The state of music in general is horrible..People are looking to make ringtone songs not good records. But there is always good artist and music out there.. you just have to look for it and support the artist you do like. Its not like it use to be..its nothing for people to download your music for free..so its harder for underground artist to stay afloat..studio, artwork mixing, mastering.. that all cost money, when your independent and funding your own project its hard to continue doing that when your record is everywhere online for free.

abyss:whats more important to you as a artist to make it or to have respect in the industry cus u see alot of talented rappers nowadays sellout for a quik uck some for greeb some out of need so whats more importan in your current state?

adlib:Obviously I want to make a good living doing what I love and what I am good at..I will never change who I am that doesn't mean I wouldn't do a pop sounding record..I would but I would be me..at the end of the day staying true to yourself is all that matters

abyss:it must of been a honor to be featured on snowgoons blacksnow album it was one of that years best cd's how did you link up with snowgoons?

adlib:My homie Reef had worked with them before so I knew about them thru him..But it was King Magnetic that linked us up..I did a hook for Mag for Incite a Riot after he sent it to them they sent me Avalanche Warning with Pacewon and Nervous Wreck..I then Went to Europe to HipHop Kemp and Royal Arena Festival and traveled with them..they are good people and I respect there grind.. Anytime they need anything from me I got them

abyss:speaking of producers is there any producer you havent worked with that you wish u could?

adlib:Beatnuts, Prince Paul, Premo, Madlib, and as far as up and coming I really like Stu Bangas Lu Ballz from Boston.

abyss:you've been getting aclaim before the years of social networking so im assumign you had a goo d streat hustle when it came to music with social netowrking making it easier to get your music otu you think a strong street hustle with you music is more important?

adlib:The most important thing is to always keep it real with people..don't say you can do things you can't and don't burn bridges..I know what I want I set goals and as soon as I reach them I set new ones. Sleep is the cousin of death! So I stay on my grind

abyss:most emcee's dont take lightly to negetive critism are you one of those rappers who pout about it or do you let the negetive crritics help guide your style.

adlib.I'm gonna do me regardless..if my name is in your mouth I'm doing my job.

June Marx (of Twin Perils) - "No Matter" [Prod. Elhuana] [2011] {Music V...

after putting one of last years BEST rap cd's with body of god you'd think june marx has peaked or at least he'd take a breather. Not him this is what makes a true lyricist no breaks even after putting out a critically acclaimed album you stay with the pen an the pad and stick to the music hustle doing what you love he most even if your fanbase is minimal. Im use to hearing pure lyrical onslought tracks with marz no hooks just pure lyrics alot of sceitiic talk internal rhyming but his latest track no matter shows marx going into a direction a more uplifiting track with a nice melodic beat by elhuana. "crafting this wisdom to patch the scars" is one of the realest lines ive heard in a while deffintly since thats why i spit. I like versitile emcees like this can spit complex and uplifiting while staying true to himself. i dont think there has been a line ive heard from marx i havent liked

Everytrack any of these two release nowadays has a hip-hop legend on the track. nine, el sensia, main flow, june marx, thirstin howl, slain, king magnetic, edo , dany diablo, and constant others have all graced the mic with one of these heavy hitting lehigh valley emcee's. Now they have the pleasure of jumping on a track with general steale of the legendary smth and wesson. Now if that isnt making it i dont know what is. Id love to have a collab list like the one aov i wouldnt give a fuck if i had a deal in my mind that right there would be making it and they prove with there lyrics that they deffintly desrerve the respect theyhave been getting over the years. Godilla has one of the most complex style flows out of anyone out of the lehigh valley, his internal rhyme scheme is impressiveneough but he doesnt just use simple words using sinitific terms in his verse. Ive been trying to get a verse to prove his ability but ur gunna haveto listen to yourself his multis entwine so well ou hae to lsiten over and over just to get the whole bar heavily impressive. Ali armz former rotten garden recors signie come strong wwith his verse and proves his lyrical aility has maured since his outacity days with tore gatling. Adlib finish's it off with probally the best verse on this track. "i ride with a tek like im rolling with steale" adlib proves hes both witty and highly metephorical and unless you actually no hip-hop wouldnt have cought on to it but overall ALL 3 lib, ali, illa doing big things for thei 610

Red McFly - ME (Music Video)

RED is deffintly the most known and the closest local emcee to blowing up in the 610. You also know ive been pretty harsh on red as a lyricist on the past, but his latest track ME impressed me on so many levels. Idk if i should start on how well shot this video is POSSIBLY the best video ive scene out of he 610 hip-hop scene l-money shot a briliant video that reminds me more of a short movie then a music video. What i am gunna talk about though is how in just 67 month it seemed red matured as a emcee, his delivery feels alot stronger on the beat then it usually does. Now the subject matter isnt something new in hip-hop A MAN GETTING GOT UP CHEATING BY HIS GIRL but most artist dont vividly display the senerio like red is in this track "she staying up all night allready getting ready for a big as fight" overall this is a nice woven story over a nice beat and topped off by a video that goes along with the track something you uszually dont see and im do something i usually dont do give 2 rating

Automatic "Thank You" Featuring L Money

nowadays every emcee is trying to sing and usually thats a bad thing unless you ACTUALLY HAVE A PRODUTIVE VOICE. the new track thank you bu automatic feat l-money shows l-money displaying his smooth vocals on the hook while letting automatic destroy the track lyrically. This track goes hard one not only does automatic display heavy hitting lyrics between the upbeat instremantals frommeat beats and l-mneys smooth flowing hook this track also has potentel as a single you;d here on the radio as well as a track that would keep a well respected emcee true to his skills. Im defintly impressed by this track on all levels.

LPerfex Leave me Alone

L-PERFEX is a veteran in the local hip-hop scene thats at the end of his road already releasing his last album, at least he's leaving on good terms with a track that definitely shows thats he's one of the realest emcees in the valley. perfex first first goes to haters, the bad critics, shifty friends that you cant trust, prtty much subject matters most people can relate to now adays. "talking about i can get down with you if i wanna why the hell i need you for" shows that hes a emcee that knows hes better then most and hates to be underestimated. Now im not feeling the chorous or the beat to much but lyrically perfex goes strong deffintly starting off the 2nd verse "every album is selling im bout to open up a drive though 99 cent singles fries and a coke" "instead of sending me money people sending me beats'" He deffintly shows he's heavy lyrically while proving some good points on theindustry. Not his best lyrical but still better then most plus sometimes a good message to get across is what it takes to make a diffrence

"Murder with A T" Fred Savage f/ Hitman and Little Spirit REVIEW

Tribeland records has been heavy on there grind so far in 2011, and on a lyrical point there at there peak. Fred savage starts off this track making some valid points (10 thousand local rappers and only 10 of them can rhyme) while displaying violent punchlines throughout the track with a gritty vocal that diplays he's serious (i come though and capture our spleen) He holds a steady flow throughout witout havig to force a bar like most emcees to keep the flow steady. Little displays a haunting hook tha goes perfect with the dark grimey beat this track is displayed on. Hitman finishes off this track, now hitman did something that impressed me and its not only his exceptional lyric abilt. Most emcees brag there the best while hitman claims )im lehighs valleys best, one of them) most emcees have to mch pride to state there not indeed the illest., with lines like this he deffintly is (my whole camps fire only a few can resit, they must be fire proof i a fire suite since im boss your all fired dude overall this track goes hard not much bad to say aout this

INTERVIEW WITH ED MONSTA

http://www.wix.com/edmonsta/edmonsta

Yesterday i had the opportunity to sit down with the latest artist signed to allentown based tribeland records ed monsta. Eds been heavy on his grind so far in 2011 starting off heavy with the black and yellow remix with campground abe to his recent allignment with tribleland now bare with me this isnt set up in a normal interview format to do me having to write everything down but i do have the basic information he supplied me with so sorry ed if it isnt word for word but it is what you gave me

what are his plans for 2011:

Plans on releasing mixtapes all year long and staying heavy on his grind. He believes its important to get your name out before dropping an album. Wants to get heavy on the show tip stating that shows are the best way to get your name out to a broader audiance.

His inspiration:
early 90's hip-hop scene when the rap game was looking to be peaking.

On his views on selling out:

Belives no one can trully answer this question. He does wanna stay true to his music but raising kids and econonomic struggles and if the money was right would take the leap to mainstream to supply for his family.

(i deffintly see this statement of a true artist, most emcee's now aday would sellotu for fame fortune bling and girls, but when he gave me this answer i could tell his minds set on giving his family the best life could give i deffintly respect ed)

his view on the local scene:

theres alot of talented emcees out of the valley but theres also alot of bad quiity that dooms some emcees.

(we discussed this and aggreed that soemtimes you have to put out bad quility tracks hopihg someone would here you and help you with studio time0

does he consider himself a versitile emcee:

states he can rap on every subject and emcees liek kanye west opened up the doors to rap about whatever you want and still make it in the rap game.

what can we expect from his debute mixtape:

he has his new project linked to some of the most respected prodcuers in the lehigh valley including jd of stunt dubs, m-dot of grind factory, nation of undivided attention, and majk of tribeland.

status of the mixtape"

currently has about 12 songs out nothing recorded wants perfection and not just wanting to push out material just to push out material like we both agreed alot of artist are doing now adays.

OVERALL: ED MONSTa has his head on straight when it comes to want he wants out of his music and deffintly has the correct midnstate to suceed. deffintly cant wait to see what else he has in store for 2011
